Schumer urges J&J Ceo to retain unit's jobs
Sen. Charles Schumer said Tuesday he had a positive discussion with Johnson & Johnson CEO Alex Gorsky over the New Jersey-based company's previously announced intention to reevaluate the status of its Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Inc. unit.

Schumer could care less if a few jobs leaving NYS, as long as he appears to be fighting to keep this from happening. He worries about his image to the voters, not real life events that impact his constituents. He's acting.

Maybe Schumer should have thought of that before supporting the new medical device tax.......

Or maybe before he voted for the dozens of other tax increases along with all of the business killing regulations that he and his party loves so much.

I'm surprised he hasn't, been run out of Rochester (and upstate NY). Voters seem to be largely unaware of his voting record.
His contribution to us is grabbing a podium and blowing smoke up our butt in front of the TV cameras. No one seems to throw tough questions at him, or followup on promises he made previously.
