Franken is short for Frankinstien. Behind that dorky face is a spiritually deadman revived by the left to do their dirty deeds. We have a foul mouth/foul minded monster representing us. Good Grief :(
I am hoping for a revolution or a military coup to take back our country!
Have you been out sniffing glue in the parking lot or something?!? A military coup or revolution?!?!!

This is what you get when political pandering has to cater to the lowest common denominator out there. This is all the GOP has left is to stir up the redneck rubes of their base and, tah-dah, we get moon bat speech like the quote above.

There are a couple of dangerous assumptions here. The first is that a revolution would be successful. Such things might have been possible when all the government had to respond with were basically muskets and grapeshot. But if you're thinking today about a "new Continental Army," just remember that today's "Redcoats" would have nukes...

The second dangerous assumption is that a military coup would be led by those who believe as you do, and who would install a benevolent tyranny that would uphold your personal values. Well, maybe so, and maybe not so much. Historical precedent would seem to counsel against such blind trust in human nature.

In a representative democracy (yeah, ok, Republic for you purists), the dreadful risk is that if the majority of the passengers wants the crew to use the ship to ram the iceberg, they get to do so, and we all get to live with the results. The problem is that, for too long, we've tried to turn the Ship of State into a Carnival Cruise. But the answer is not mutiny (the explosions might sink the ship), but better educated passengers who can make wiser decisions about our itinerary.

Geez, lose 2 elections in a row and it's time for the shotguns and pitchforks?

In 2002 if a liberal so much as said "this is the wrong way to go" they were tarred and feathered as traitors. Now you guys speak openly of revolution. The guy's opposite the legally elected government in a revolution do have a name though: Traitors.

On a side note, I have thoroughly enjoyed your Cotton Highway 53 road side sign campaign for the last 25 years. Can we get an update/refresh on the West facing signs? They are long overdue for change. Also the South facing signs are too low to read at any speed what so ever. Maybe taller sign posts? Or cut the weeds in front of them?

Go First Amendment! Is this a great country or what?

Wow. I thought this was a dead horse already. We lost to a former comedian but I'm OK with that because as a conservative, I am appalled Coleman was a liberal Democrat just a decade ago. Any Republican voting for him was a fool. Yeah I don't like Frankin but in recalling Colemans political liberal views in the 70's thru the early 90's...I absolutely do not trust the flip flopping Coleman. Had Coleman been a true Republican that attacked Frankins' politics and agenda's versus digging up lame 10-15 year old garbage he might have actually won.

Give it up, Norm. . . if you were such an impressive member of Congress last term, you would have been re-elected in a landslide.

What if President Obama had wanted it involved in elections......It could be worse. How much Federal money has been poured into this mess? Thankfully it has lost its census job.

Memo to the fractionalized Minnesota Republican Party. If you want to win an election, find candidates who appeal to the majority of independent, free-thinking Minnesota voters, not just to your narrow-minded agenda.
