Your article was very good and compete, except for one thing. You did not mention Diana Thompson who orginized the event and was instramental in bringing Nathaniel Dunigan to Park City.

The event was indeed a great success. Being able to meet Nathaniel, hear about who he was, and the many things he has accomplished was both an honor and a privilege. However, the one major thing that struck me as very, VERY surprising was the failure to mention Diana Thompson. She was pretty much the reason this whole thing took place. During his speech, Nathaniel even brought her in front of everybody and accredited her as being the very keystone behind the entire event. So, why the oversight?

I understand this article is about AIDCHILD and Nathaniel, but it is also necessary to give credit where credit is due.

When Greg Marshall approched me, he asked me why I chose to attend the AidChild event. I shared with him that Diana Thompson and I were friends and that I felt that what she had done to bring this project together was incredible. She found about AidChild while in Uganda and put everything together to allow this to happen.

Without her tireless efforts and support this would have never happened. However, she was never mentioned in your article. How could that happen? She found a gallery to sponser the event. She got frame shops to donate their services. She got me to design the invitation. She arranged for everything, but there was not one mention of her in your article. Without Diana Thompson, no one would know about AidChild in Park City.

Greg really 'blew it' on this one. Diana didn't do this for publicity or prestige. She did it from her heart. But if you had any idea of how hard she worked for months and months you would have given her the credit that she deserves.

How about a follow up article that 'clears things up' and again promotes AidChild and Diana's efforts on their behalf? Also, I was quoted out of context and I didn't appreciate that either.

Sincerely, Jan Henderson

Hey, what happened to any mention of the one local women that made this event happen? What a shame that your paper missed the chance to bring to the attention of your community the gem you have in Diana Thompson. This is a terrible oversight that needs to be corrected.
