The plan to put everyone under survailence is sold under the name of safety! At what price are we willing to feel safe? Cameras in our homes?
" The only thing to fear is fear itself"!!
We are enslaving ourselves slowly but surely by letting ourselves be sold the notion that camera make us safer! How stupid can we be!! A camera doesn't stop anything from happening it just records it so we have someone/ something to blame! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!

The way i see it is if someone knows there is a camera they are less likely to run the red light or commit any other crime. Sounds safer to me.

We were able to have the city take our enforcement traffic cameras down because most of the money was going to a corporation in Denmark. You got a fine for 100.00.... The city got 35.00 and the company got 65..... So we voted our leaders out of office and the new elected city leaders took those things down real fast....

I drive from HHI to Westbury Park twice everyday and usually do so exceeding the speedlimit by 10 MPH. 45 MPH is fast enough on 278, but even at 10 MPH over, I am consistently tailgated, and people pass me like I sitting still. the ragers are out in force. I see people weaving in and out of traffic changing lanes multiple times only to be sitting beside me or 2 cars ahead at the next light. These morons are putting everyone at risk. I am glad to see our police being more proactive, esp. at the construction site at the flyover site. Some believe that if speed limits were enforced there would be less accidents and the daily traffic jams would be lessened.

It such a mystery for these communties when a contruction worker is killed, yet people driving excessively, and yes still texting, pass me everyday. We are such a diverse community of seniors, youngsters driving a 2000 pound vehicle, lacking in life skills and texting their "what's up" to their friends. Add our tourists and game on!

People who throw cigarettes from cars are the most digusting. We live in paradise and these people not only disrepect nature at it best, but threaten everything that makes this such a desirable place to live, I would vote if a person is seen throwing a cigarette from a vehicle that they be fined $1000. Speeders who exceed the speed limit above 5 MPH, be fined $100 for every MPH after the first 5.

I would much rather see this happen and the police and their families benefit and the taxes of people who obey the laws aren't raised. There is a lot of revenue for the towns to be gathered here and not by raising taxes for property owners.

Me again, today during the 5PM traffic, there were 4 police cars around the construction site. Additionally, I was not tailgated and traffic ON BOTH sides was moving smoothy.

Great job by our County Sheriiffs and great job drivers!!
