I hate to say this Bud, but you need to get your taste buds checked. My Wife and I went to Tumbleweed's Saturday evening and I got the New York Strip. It was not a $20.00 steak. It was tough and full of grissle. My wife got the Brisket plate and it had no flavor and the sauce was too sweet. I ordered a take out also and it was brought out before we got our food????. I said something about it and our server took it back and said he would have a new one when we got ready. All they did was set it aside and bring it out later, cold. The best thing I can say about the food is that the potato salad was very good.

Lots from Sysco, like stuffed Jal.? Handmade nothing... Banana Pudding, Onion Rings, can you say $20.00 Sysco

After a short wait of a couple of minutes, we were seated. We ordered an appetizer of "Smoked Chicken Poppers", chicken wrapped in bacon and jalapeno and smoked on the pit. I had the 3 meat combo with brisket, sausage and ribs and she had the chicken breast plate. Brisket was tender and moist, sausage was great and ribs were falling off the bone. The chicken breast had a great smoke flavor that was very distinctive. Overall, we were very happy with the experience. After our dinner, we were surprised to find an outdoor patio with live music and a full bar. Great atmosphere inside and out.

My wife and I had dinner at the Tumbleweed BBQ in Cresson Sunday evening June 28 and the food was horrible. I had the Rib plate and have never in my 72 years tasted ribs that bad. They were overcooked to the point that they were burned, but yet they were greasy and tough. When I pointed this out to the waiter he stated that "Yes, sometimes they are not too good". My wife ordered the $24.99 Fillet medium well and they served it with blood running out on her plate. The waiter took it back and cooked it more but the quality of the meat was not worth the price. They serve better steaks on the buffett at Golden Corral. In addition to the bad food and service, the place was full of flies. The waiter tried to remedy that by swatting them with his baseball hat. What a high class joint. This was the second AND LAST TIME I will go to the the Tumbleweed BBQ.

My wife and I ate at Tumbleweed Bar-B-Que in Cresson last night, July 2nd. We arrived at about 7:30 and there was not a parking spot left. Come to find out, they are hosting some kind of Texas Music series on the patio. We came to have dinner and sat inside. I had the rib plate and my wife ordered the chopped sandwich. The ribs were falling off the bone and melted in my mouth. The potato salad had nice flavor and I had the pinto beans. The beans really stood out with excellent flavor and spice, but not too hot. The wife enjoyed her chopped sandwich and french fries as well. Afterward, we decided to head out back to see what the buzz was all about. The patio was full and included a neat outdoor bar. We enjoyed 1 beer in a frozen mug and headed back home. Overall, very happy with our first experience.

Some of the finest steaks that I have eaten, ever. I have had the ribeye and the strip. How can you describe a fine steak? Hint of seasoning that lets the flavor of the meat come through. Always tender, melts in your mouth. Price is an absolute steal compared to steaks that I have eaten that don't come close to the flavor of these.

I have eaten at Tumbleweed many times. Good food, nice people. I have tried just about everything on the menu but I have to recommend the chicken poppers as an appetizer. They are great. Any entree you try will be excellent.

Went there today and got the 2-meat plate. The brisket was incredible, it melted in my mouth. There was no fat at all - awesome! The portion was huge (I took the rest home). My other meat was sausage .... soooo good! Two choices of sauce, I like the sweeter one. Fries were excellent as well. My father and husband both got a brisket sandwich and had so much, they had take home boxes too. I give them 4.5/5 stars!
