Effective immediately, June 5, 2009, at 11:05 am, I will be taking an extended leave from the Editorial duties of Havana Topix, Bath Topix, and Mason County Topix. Stories posted here from this date forward will be done automatically by "Robobloger".

I am fine. Sadly when people think of 62644.com they relate the website to the negative comments here on Topix. Topix will be here if I am here or not, it is not fair to the website to be blamed so I think it best that I resign from these editorial duties and remove the association.

Hmmmm... So stepping back up? I don't understand why you took Topix off in the first place. Anyone who wants to can register to be an "Editor" and gather news stories for the Havana area, and I hadn't heard any grumblings of associated the posts on this site to your own.

No, I am not stepping back up. I have resigned as the editor of Havana Topix. It is up to them to remove my name from this section, I can not do that. You are right anyone can apply to do this job for free. I have replaced the link to Havana Topix on 62644.com along with all the other links to other Havana related websites. Other than that I have no connection with Havana Topix. Ted

I KNOW THIS PROBABLY ISNT TE PLACE TO POST THIS, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO. THE PAST FEW DAYS MY CHILDREN HAVE HEARD RUMORS ABOUT THE HIGH SCHOOL COUNCILOR AND PRINCIPAL. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND IF IT WAS TRUE OR NOT. THANKS!

1.) There's NO WAY that's true. I know the Principal personally, and he's not that type of person.

2.) This is NOT the place to throw out random rumors you've heard just to verify if they're true. Go downtown to the coffeeshop for that rubbish.
