Any good priced childcare places in Pearland?

My wife and I just moved to Pearland a couple of months ago and we are still getting familiar in the area. We are expecting our first child in Feb and we are already looking into a daycare place for it to go during the day. Can anyone recommend a good daycare or even a nanny in the East Pearland side? Obviously price will be a factor.

You can try A Place to Grow on Bailey. They are not East Pearland, but more central. They usually have a waiting list, but you can give it a try.

Definitely visit a couple in the daytime. Go unannounced to get a "feel" for the place. Also look at the State's inspection reports online at:

Even brilliant daycares will have a few minor violations but it gives you an idea of whether minor or potentially serious violations have ever been found.

But I can't emphasize the importance of a visit. Meet the potential carer and talk to her to see how nurturing she seems. Good luck.
