I met Brett my freshman year when I was on swimming scholarship for the University of Iowa 1985-89. Brett was a unique individual with immense wisdom. He introduced me to Iowa City and the beautiful people of Iowa which I still fondly refer to as utopia. On returning back to Manchester England I passed on my Letterman ring to Brett as I new he would wear it with the pride it deserved. I subsequently visited the state 5 more time and Brett had the brilliant opportunity to visit the little rock (Britain)in 1996 and in his true generous manner brought a bike over for my partner at the time Barbara. Love to all the people he touched as that was his underlying nature to see the best in people what ever there circumstance. Love and peace to beautiful soul nigel
