Regardless of how it happened or who may be at fault, it's all very tragic and Uncle Don will be greatly missed.

The 84 year old man didn't see my Uncle Don due to the area being shaded. Guess that puts the 'glare' excuse to rest.

Uncle Don was a special man. He enjoyed his dog, old cars, and had a funny sense of humor. He will be sadly missed.

Maybe if there were trails out in the country for bikes it would be little bit different Most people who drive country roads daily know to look for bikers, walkers, deer, dogs, and farmer equipment It wasn't like this was the first time Don has gone down this road with his bike and dog

I am sure they are nice people, but if you ride you bike on busy streets, you (the biker) take the risk and bear responsibility for that. If you walk your do along busy streets, you take the risk as well. If you ride your bike AND walk your dog on a 2 laner, it is twice the risk.
There are parks, and trails, and sidewalks, and many places to enjoy the outdoors.
