If you're thinking of voting for either McCain or Obama, you better get used to it.
As America becomes more and more accepting of other cultures, these cultures bring with them different ways of doing things. The varying ways of handling food is but one thing we need to understand.
It's really no surprise that illegal's eat illegal food.
BOTH McCain and Obama want to grant these illegals amnesty. For the safety and well being of our children's food supply, please look at third parties.
If you don't like it here in the U.S.A. then you have a choice to move to Canada, Mexico or Iraq,, your choice. You also have the choice to vote for Ralph Nader,,, why don't you jump on his bandwagon

I think we all need to be aware of where our food comes from. Any food that comes in from foreign countries is allowed to be sprayed with contaminates that we do not allow in the U.S. Yet we allow them to come into this country and we consume them. We need better awareness.

Are you from the aryan nation or the kkk?
Good grief, this country has been ethnically diverse since Ellis Island.
Unless you came from a test tube, your relatives came from a "different culture" too.
Don't we have enough hate in this country?

I just wonder who ran this state in the RED INK and then moved away after his term was up, ENGLER. He has caused alot of the problems in Michigan. Granholm is still fixing his big mess.
I knew that was coming, oh yeah; you forgot to blame Bush. I'm sure one of you Einsteinís will pull that out of your playbook. I blame Gashonomics for all our problems.

Thank GOD for our State Police. Could this be another to kill or maim our people. GGod only knows what ewould have happened if a housewife fed some of tthat to her family. Also how many families might this stuff have put in the hospital or worse in the ground. I really appreciate the people who were alert and caught this truck. I just hope to God that other trucks did not get through.
It's just nice to see the state police DO SOMETHING for a change. If it wasn't for local and county police, not much would get done!

Each country or culture can have their way of handling things per their legal system. We need to respect that. It is just that law in the country has to be applied in that country regardless the nationality of the people. In this case, we won't criticize the culture of that nationality ( of the people who handled the delivery case). But he needs to follow the regulatioin of the United Stated or FDA. We should not blame the idea of allowing importing food from other countries: as long as the food are fully per FDA and handled per United States procedure.
Unfortuantely, if you look at the ingredient lists on the imported Chinese foods, you won't find "Melamine" on the list. If we can't trust their ingredient lists, would you expect anything more?

If you read the story, then you saw that:"Second Harvest Gleaners picked up the frozen products that were deemed still good to eat." Please don't assume they are making the poor eat spoiled food. That is just stupid.

This is only a begining and a great job to the person that acknowledged this issue- however many other offences pass in front of the weigh stations that are also of importance and as I've always felt these weigh station areas need to be manned with more employees to ensure these issues are addressed. Sure it takes money and time but I think the lives of those that are saved is worth more than the political BS that is and always has been the hold up with providing more indepth service in the transportation industry. Keep up the great work !
