Body found in car at Wal-Mart parking lot

A woman's body was found in a car at the Wal-Mart in Ionia. Officers were called to the scene Thursday afternoon.

This person found in the Wal-Mart parking lot was a good friend of mine! I do NOT believe for one minute that she committed suicide or overdosed. At this moment, it is unknown how she passed away. I cannot believe how insensive some people are being. She was a wonderful person with a great personality and a very nice family, who by the way, are completely devastated at her passing. I am so saddened by her death. I lost a really good friend. I am also deeply offended that WOOD TV 8 would say that it was a suicide due to overdose when the cause of death has not yet been determined.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the loss of their family member and friend. This has shaken up a lot of people here in Ionia.

the message from Scott in allegan (about the colt 45) should be deleted. That's a disgusting thing to say as are almost all of the comments on here. Regardless of how or what caused her death, NO ONE should die alone, and especially in a car in a Walmart parking lot. Honestly News 8 should do a better job of monitoring these posts.

She was my friend. How can some of you be so uncaring? She was a wonderful person. She has a loving family and a lot of friends that will miss her very much. Even if you didn't know her, please keep her family in your prayers. No matter how it happened, their hearts are breaking. Scott- Find a new hobbie. Being a jerk on the internet is not doing much for you or anyone else.
