Roads in Idaho Falls Remain Unpaved

Everyday Alan Newman turns off Science Center Drive toward his house on Elmore. When he does, rock's go flying, mud splatters and dust picks up because this street, which is in the city limits, isn't paved.

There is no excuse for unpaved roads today. I grew up in Ronan MT and where today many streets are still not paved, and some paved ones have potholes so big ya need a four wheller to get through them. I now live in CA. where even the loggin roads are paved. I guess dirt roads are just a part on the good o'll west.
