I think that asking people if they are here legally is dumb. It will make people NOT answer the census, for fear of deportation, and it will make the census inaccurate. The people who want to do this just want to further persecute undocumented workers. The haters do not care how the census comes out, as long as they get to pick on poor people. I support full amnesty for those that do the work that Americans will not do, and I vote in EVERY election.

My concerns are not about the hard working illegal adults living and working here in the USA, in my earlier years I worked next to some of these families in local canneries. They were able to make enough money here to last the whole year back in Mexico. But I am discussed about the employers who look the other way when they alloy children to work in their fields. Another pet peeve of mine is how ignorant US north of the boarder citizens can be of the worthless 2nd and 3rd generation of alien welfare recipients who are sucking the shrinking available tax dollars from boarder states. I know this because a good fried of mind that is a boarder baby himself has relatives sucking this system dry.

Humans have roamed the earth for millenia trying to better their situation. People will always move toward where things are better and away from where it's worse. It's as simple as that. Hating illegal immigrants for doing something you yourself would do if you were in their situation is wasted energy at best, hypocrisy at worst. If you were born in the US, you basically won the lottery. You benefit from all the good this country spent hundreds of years building through no extra effort of your own. And now you want to close the door now that you're in.

Border fences and deportations can never stop it. It's like water. It will always flow where gravity and pressure push it. The only solution to illegal immigration from country X is when the ability to survive and thrive in country X is better than in the US.

As for immigrants, reality check for you. An unlimited open door and blanket amnesty for anyone who enters will obviously and quickly destroy what we have here. In order to maintain this society, immigration must be open yet controlled. If you want to be an American, come here and become one. Contribute to and become part of this great country. But get in line and do it right like I did (from The Netherlands). If you don't then you've shown that you care more about yourself than you do about America. In which case you cannot expect those who follow the rules to want you here.

But like Adam said above, you can use powerful words like "haters" and "persecute" to make yourself feel better about doing something you know is wrong. Criminals can always make themselves feel better by making themselves believe they are the victim.

First of all, Americans ARE willing to do the work, but we want to be paid a livable wage jack ass! We don't live in Mexico, so 50 cents an hour isn't going to cut it! And the census has nothing to do with finding illegal aliens. It's conducted to gather information on the country's population.

The fact that people like you vote, just shows me why our country is in the sad state of affairs it is. You are an idiot.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Pisces

This is a great day for understanding what's going on under the surface of things and for tuning into the subtle messages that others are sending out. For instance, someone may say one thing yet you'll be utterly convinced that they really mean something quite different. However, they won't like it if you say so, so you'll have to maintain a tactful and discreet silence.
