Blame George Bush...he has Karl Rove running around turning on those big cold chambers installed by the illuminiati in the 19th century..and..and...and..
Well, folks, the global warming goo-goos won't go away-their leaders want to fire or arrest their detractors(Dr.David Suzuki of "The Nature of Things"says he was half-joking about having non-compliant scientists arrested when he screamed it at the top of his lungs at a meeting in Canada last week).
The IS the nature of things. We have had about 15 years of mild winters, and we're getting whacked as we should now.GLOBAL WARMING IS A SOCIALIST FRAUD!

Monkfellow--yes, yes, global warming is just another of those crazy liberal myths. Like evolution, math, chemistry, biology, dinosaurs, the Holocaust, etc...

I'm fed up with I Falls getting all the attention for nation's icebox. Anyone who knows anything about Northern Minnesota knows that Embarrass is usually the cold spot up there. Go Embarrass!

What's funny is the libs will actually BLAME man-made global warming for the record cold temperatures.

They've changed the term to "global climate change", so that EACH and EVERY little variation in weather can be blamed.

Get ready everyone, taxes and regulations and restrictions on your freely chosen lifestyle are on the way.

It would be nice if the writer would have been more specific about the fact that -40 was a record for that day, not an all time record.

The all-time low for the state is -60 near Tower (February 2, 1996). Makes -40 seem mild in comparison.

Not News: It's February in Minnesota and it's cold. News: Some nut case from Kansas has to throw in his two cents about a "socialist fraud"

Hey Monkfellow, do you have to comment on our news because where you are from, they are on to you and probably "ban" you from their websites?

...why International Falls?...
has no one recognized Tower or Embarrass
whose temperatures not only seem to come in lower than IF's but also
get there earlier in the year....THAT is icebox!
Or is it that the "Ice Box of the US" be a city of a certain size?
Wikipedia:
Tower set the Minnesota record for coldest temperature on February 2, 1996, when the temperature dropped to -60°F (-51°C).
and
January 2005, Embarrass had a near-record low temperature of –54°F. The record low temperature is -57°F on February 2, 1996.[3]

When you get your heat bill, don't believe what it says. The earth is literally burning up. Algore told me so.
