Children Treated Less Than Human

Question: Which is more important... the preservation of the family unit or the safety and well-being of a child?
Most rational minds would conclude that the safety of the child is paramount. Why then do state and county agencies across the country have policies that go against the rational position?
This is not just in Miami...it's in South Carolina and EVERY state in this nation...and WE are funding the salaries of those employed to investigate, protect, and mandate.

There are very FEW organizations which actually HELP children in the US:
1.) Justice For Children out of Houston, TX and Washington, DC:
Watch their video:
2.) Protect.org out of Knoxville, TN:
Watch their eye opening video- they are taking charge!

Watch the PBS documentary on the abuse occurring nationwide:
CPS (Child Protective Services)/ DFCS or whatever your state calls the agency designed to protect abused children is failing nationwide.
When are we going to stand up and say no to this abuse of our children? First, they are abused at home, then by the agencies designed to help them!

Sadly I know of a "mother" in Inman who has repeatedly abused and neglected her child and the courts continue to side with her and her sob stories. When the child winds up severely harmed or dead at her hands or the hands of her Meth addicted boyfriend, who will take the blame??
