I saw a truck backed up to the back door of the meat department. It was unloading road kill, to human bodies, and a live yack. That made me courious/nervous.

I've never had yack before.

Nothing wrong with eating Opossum. It is just not what you expect to see at any supermarket. Some people even like it. Personally, I think it is a little odd for my tastes, but, IfI was hungry enough---pass the pepper . . ..

when they cant sell it in the meat dept. they take it to the del. and sell it for $4.99 a lbs, you got it and if it is out dated like chicken and things they put it in lime juice and freshing it up a bit and re-sale it and your thinking you get it FRESH all over again.

MY God! I knew MC had a lot of Who*es, but now even the meat is dating. Who would go out with a piece of dead meat?

It would be just like going out with one of those passed out pill hos, but even then they are usually breathing.

man i couldnt agree with u more..im a butcher of sorts myself. The average person just looks at meat as being something to eat..ppl like u and I see it in a different way..i consider it as being art..therefore the better it looks the more id pay for it..

Its a shame if you but a pack of ground beef and dont use it today it is ruined tomorrow. What to they do trim up the outdated larger cuts add some dye and grind them up thats how it seems .If the powers that be would get a good chain supermarket in the county the shoprites wouldnt last 6 months .I know we have savalot but they lack in brand name variety.I was looking into opening a butcher shop / deli but I dont think the larger part of the people around here would pay the slightly higher price for premium meats .

Where is our Wal-mart? Everyone else has one. Is it the MC curse---were second rate citizens and get just the scraps of life????

Well Fu*k the MC curse!!!!!! I want to be treated like a first rate citizen. I want my Wal-mart!!!!!!

I want good fresh food~!~!~!~!~!

I'll bet Darell Walker, or his family dosen't eas out of date meat. I'll bet they eat fresh steak. And they want to give us the scraps. Scraps are for the dogs.

Whoever thinks Wal-Mart has fresh meats is severely mistaken. Their meats are processed and packaged across the country and brought in by the truckloads. The amount of preservatives in their meat is some of the highest around. I agree with accessibility in Martin Co. but I don't think going to Wal-Mart for their meat is a better option.

Hey, wait a minute people, it could be a whole lot worse. Look at Copley's for instance, you have to push yo own d*** grocereys out there. You better be thankful thAT you get a carryout at shoprite so you don't have to push your own grocereys out to your car and look like you are trying to be a carryout.
