in response to "union label" in walnut. in order for the stadium project to be profitable, it must host a minimum of 40 events a year. 8 pro football games, concerts, monster truck shows, super moto-x, college games, high school games, swap meets, trade shows, movie studio work,soccer games, etc, etc. 40 times a year our freeways will be parking lots and our residential neighborhoods will be short cuts for the drunk and impatient. a project failure will be a blessing in disguise.

Fear not, the stadium is not going to be built. Roski did set up his downtown buddy Tony Villar to start a stadium project there, but it will go nowhere as well. The NFL has no use for a team in LA. The TV money is too good to risk against the blackout rules. Not to mention the NFL owners look down their nose at Roski and his Industry feifdom. The last thing the NFL wants is another casino owner that reminds folks of Frank McCourt.
