Ok, I certainly expect to hear the howls of protest about these checkpoints. Especially from those caught driving drunk. Hey, here's a great way to avoid getting caught driving drunk while you still enjoy all the booze you want. Simply use a designated driver, who stays completely sober during your partying. Not a single drop of alcohol for this person, but be nice and buy him/her snacks and soft drinks/coffee. If your idea of a great time is boozing it up, having a designated driver is the way to go! Fun time for you, without getting arrested or dying. Remember this important fact, and you'll enjoy many years of partying.

So..."MUMBLING REPETITIVE DRONE! BLAH BLAH BLAH." about using a Designated Driver to be safe and prevent DUI arrests? Please tell us that you'll be staying OFF the roads the next time you'll be drinking!

They're after me lucky charms!(lucky charms is my pay check)but its a small price to pay for drinking green beer and pinching booty. I mean really, whats a twelve hundred dollar ticket a night in the drunk tank, a mandatory thirty day impound on my vehicle, my licence suspended for one year, two years of summary probation, four months of dui classes at thirty five dollars a pop, two AA meetings, and a scar on my record for life? IT'S GREEN BEER

Fine...don't use a Designated Driver when you get drunk for St. Patrick's Day. At least save some lives (maybe even your own) by using a cab. Please note: I drink on occasion myself! I just never even think of driving afterwards.

it just shows you the number 1 rule...don't drink and drive! Drink at the stop signs, that way you can focus and not spill any.
