Wow! A bunch of middle-aged men fighting. Shame on them for losing their tempers! Now apologize, be nice, and drop all charges. Police have real criminals to worry about.

I neither live in this community, nor by the looks of it, ever will . I don't deal with baby fascists on the payroll.
This is going on all over this country. Violence to cover up illegal actions. The reason these people acted in this way is because they know what they are doing is morally wrong and likely illegal. It must not see the light of day until they are all dead or out of office (you know like JFK). Then the next bunch or criminals will be voted in and the same agenda will occur.

According to Wikipedia "The pride of La Habra Heights is open space, no sidewalks, no street lights and encouragement of animal husbandry. La Habra Heights has no industry (stores, gas stations) with the exception of a small real estate office. The community has one park "The Park"."

The one industry is does have is a taxing authority, through the guise of an association, and a police force to help intimidate (strong arm it citizens into compliance).
REMEMBER YOUR OATH TO *SERVE AND PROTECT.*
So what now makes La Habra Height such a great place to live when your kids will be harassed and fined for being kids, people will start to be penalized for raising animals. What next?
All you have to do is look to the past around 1937 (brown shirts) in Germany to see where this all heads. This is nothing new, the faces just change.
As you can see the tactics employed by these "public servants" (baby czars and dictators), strong arming, blackmail, out right violence is the same tactic used in the past to create a thousand year Reich, no difference at all.

"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." - George Santayana

Remember this; these people (anyone in government) work the same way every time; turn up the heat very slowly so you don't recognize your being cooked. Always pushing for more control, and no matter what, they will keep coming.
From Wikipedia
People having antisocial personality disorder are sometimes referred to as "sociopaths" and "psychopaths."
**Signs and symptoms**
* Persistent lying or stealing
* Apparent lack of remorse[3] or empathy for others
* Cruelty to animals[4]
* Poor behavioral controls expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper
* Tendency to violate the boundaries and rights of others
* Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights
* Disregard for safety

You residents must fight these leeches in your community and make an example of them. Ostracize them out of everything you can shun them like the parasites they are.
Put them in jail, find out everything they are up too, and come together and beat them back into the hole they crawled out of.
I'm very saddened to see this behavior in this once great country but unless we recognize these changes taking place all around us and take all action to stop it, we are doomed to repeat history.Keep up the good work George, exposing the corruption in your community.

Jeff Heintz is a retired WPD. He and the other old man should be charged with battery. We all know that they won't.

It is clear that the first man attacked the filmmaker. Then Jeff Heintz tried pushing his cop bullsheet thinking he's the "man". FUGG HIM and his CONTROL MENTALITY. The first guy should be charged with BATTERY. Jeff Heintz should be charged FALSE IMPRISONMENT.
The filmmaker should push criminal and civil action against both of these clowns.

One question I have is why were these 2 ugly loud mouth repulsive women not charged with battery and verbal assault and threats? If there ever was an example to set as to why to hate all women, these women (beasts) certainly set the record. God they are ugly loud mouth bitches! And these old fart men, please go home to your lounge chairs, remote controls and beer. Get an extra box of Depends so you don't have to leave the house again while you are at it. Do all of us in the community, all you ugly behaving members of LHHIA....STAY HOME AND OUT OF OUR FACES!!!

Sure as heck looks like the assault was on this George Edwards. All he did was defend himself.
What mouths on those men, too! And earlier commentors are right, the womenfolk are pushy, crude and probably could be slapped with assault charges too.
Hope Edwards pursues it.

What a laugher! Improvement Association? With these idiots, they need to worry about improving their intelligence and LHH's image after this circus.

As a cop Heintz was not much, his decisions on the water board have not been the most fiscally sound, and his abuse of the expense account is not in keeping with that of a dedicated public servent.

For him to be "retired" at age 52, drawing a nearly full pay pension, and now double dipping as an elected is offensive to the traditional notions of fair play and justice. With the rest of us working until age 67 it is obscene for him to continue in his present position after this display of contempt of the first amendment.

He must resign.

Interesting split screen youtube video on the incident:

Funny, you must ask yourselves why the "Board" is so concerned about being videotaped. What do they have to hide?

OHHH wait a minute, its about money, nevermind.

What does Jeff Heintz, a former police officer pull out from his right side at 1:56 of the video? Is that a gun? Notice that after he sees there is a second camera he immediately withdraws from all other activities. If that were a phone or a pocketbook why would he be afraid to be involved anymore? Check his behavior when he chases the videographer until the end of the video. I think the High Resolution equipment that was used to see which out of control Laker rioters could be caught can serve the purpose here too. The Lakers vandals were charged with misdemeanors. I think a possible felony is worth the DA's time.

Did you notice in the video that Heinz was constantly saying Edwards was attacking him as he was chasing Edwards? Looks like he was trying to make up some false story his buds could testify to before he knew he was being videotaped. I wonder if he learned to make his own records when he was in law enforcement.

I was thinking the same thing.

Believe it or not, Heintz DID put a citizens arrest on Edwards for attacking him (Heintz), and Heintz says in his police statement (apparently before he knew there was video) that Edwards pushed the camera into him.

Unfortunately Jeff Heinz's assault on a photographer is a great example why many in the Greater Los Angeles News Media do not trust law enforcement officers. Also it does make one wonder if after the video was released to the public, would Jeff have attempted to change his statements in the "official police report" have he been given the opportunity? Fortunately the report was obtained before any possible tampering could be committed.
