'Remarkable California women' honored with Minerva Awards

California first lady Maria Shriver recognized four women she described as "warriors on the frontlines of humanity" Tuesday night during the Minerva Awards.

They sell tickets also. You should call the convention center for the information you need.
They should be able to refer you to the group putting on the convention.
But according to the PT, the tickets were sold out in two hours this year.
They sold out in five hours last year. So you need to get started now.

I went to a "Remarkable California Women" conference a few weeks ago. It was at a strip club, but I bet we had more fun that these guys did. The women were truly remarkable. Couric couldn't compete with this lot.
