So your wife is an indian and making the big bucks! That's the ONLY reason you'd be talking like this when the indians pay NO state taxes (especially when the state needs the monry so badly).
Meth deals up in the hils over San Manuel, infiltrated with the Mexican mafia, gun fights with the Sheriffs at Pala, and NO controls or audits over how much they skim.
Open up the state to everybody for Las Vegas style gambling and keep the money here and give American citizens a chance to invest in casinos.
The indians want their 'sovereign nation' status but sure use the states services everyday so want it both ways!
Friend, my wife is not Indian, she is from South America, from Argentina to be precise, she is has and European ancestors in her immediately family. I only defend the Indian right to own a casino and act accordingly in that particular business like any other investor.
You now scream about taxes that the Indian donít pay to the state, but you do not want to recognize the prosperity, specially in property value, that all those Indian casino bring to those communities, like Temecula, Pala, Oceanside, Etc.
The Indians not only want their 'sovereign nation', they deserve, we have a pact with them and we must respect those treaties, until their people deciding otherwise.
For how many year Indians live in reservations without any service from government ?, how many Indians children die of mal nutrition, how may parents die of alcoholism and preventable illness and nobody helped to get out of that miserable life?, for how many years they suffer discrimination?
But noo, you want their taxes now, right now and you want them no to get any public services.
Until we wonít recognize the entire mistake, the injustice, the expropriations and appropriations, the occupation, the isolation we leave them for much more than a century, we will be inclined to do the same thing over and over again.

Hey "Indian Casinos" who made the Indians stay on the terrible land you are talking about?..The Mexican people that come to this country illegally also live in terrible conditions, but most of them work their butts off to better themselves...thay don't squat on barren land and wait for the government to give them handouts..and by the way...these casinos should not be watched over by Indian Tribal members Gaming Commission...why would they report cheating on themselves?..and go and get hurt in one of those Casinos on Indian property and try to get helped by them...it won't happen..you are in a foreign country without legal recourse...you probably have more rights in Mexico!!

Why arent the wrongful terminations reported? Pechanga has been firing people without reason for a long time. They just went through another wave of about 30 people days before this article was printed. They didnt get any severance package.Dont think Pechanga is always doing the right thing, they are constantly affecting people in negative ways. They are recently most known for investigating employees personal lives with an investigator named Martin. One last thing, If you are vietnamese do not even bother trying to get a job there ever, they wont hire you. They now just automatically assume that anybody Vietnamese is part of the Tran organization.
Your name has investagator in it right then do your job. the people fired were all into an on line gambling sting. Meaning they were all dealers cheating, lol and half the work forse there are vietnamese. All of what I wrote can be proven. just do your INVESTAGATION.

Here is something of interest. These local Indians are working on projects to help the environment.
unfortunately, they don't have the resources or the federal status as these rich tribes.. but they are trying to make difference
You can help to reduce the demand for fossil fuels, which in turn reduces global warming, by using energy more wisely. Here are 10 simple actions you can take to help reduce global warming.
1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Do your part to reduce waste by choosing reusable products instead of disposables. Buying products with minimal packaging (including the economy size when that makes sense for you) will help to reduce waste. And whenever you can, recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminum cans. If there isn't a recycling program at your workplace, school, or in your community, ask about starting one. By recycling half of your household waste, you can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.
Adding insulation to your walls and attic, and installing weather stripping or caulking around doors and windows can lower your heating costs more than 25 percent, by reducing the amount of energy you need to heat and cool your home.
Turn down the heat while you're sleeping at night or away during the day, and keep temperatures moderate at all times. Setting your thermostat just 2 degrees lower in winter and higher in summer could save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year.
3. Change a Light Bulb
Wherever practical, replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. Replacing just one 60-watt incandescent light bulb with a CFL will save you $30 over the life of the bulb. CFLs also last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs, use two-thirds less energy, and give off 70 percent less heat.
If every U.S. family replaced one regular light bulb with a CFL, it would eliminate 90 billion pounds of greenhouse gases, the same as taking 7.5 million cars off the road.
4. Drive Less and Drive Smart
Less driving means fewer emissions. Besides saving gasoline, walking and biking are great forms of exercise. Explore your community mass transit system, and check out options for carpooling to work or school.
When you do drive, make sure your car is running efficiently. For example, keeping your tires properly inflated can improve your gas mileage by more than 3 percent. Every gallon of gas you save not only helps your budget, it also keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.
5. Buy Energy-Efficient Products
When it's time to buy a new car, choose one that offers good gas mileage. Home appliances now come in a range of energy-efficient models, and compact florescent bulbs are designed to provide more natural-looking light while using far less energy than standard light bulbs.
Avoid products that come with excess packaging, especially molded plastic and other packaging that can't be recycled. If you reduce your household garbage by 10 percent, you can save 1,200 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.
6. Use Less Hot Water
Set your water heater at 120 degrees to save energy, and wrap it in an insulating blanket if it is more than 5 years old. Buy low-flow showerheads to save hot water and about 350 pounds of carbon dioxide yearly. Wash your clothes in warm or cold water to reduce your use of hot water and the energy required to produce it. That change alone can save at least 500 pounds of carbon dioxide annually in most households. Use the energy-saving settings on your dishwasher and let the dishes air-dry.
7. Use the "Off" Switch
Save electricity and reduce global warming by turning off lights when you leave a room, and using only as much light as you need. And remember to turn off your television, video player, stereo and computer when you're not using them.

Why aren't they paying the same taxes as me?..I can see them getting tax free status when they are poor and living in poverty on the Reservation, but has anybody looked up in the hills behind San Manuel and seen those ugly huge houses they have built?....when they are that rich...why shouldn't they pay tax?..when are people going to wake up to the fact that they are getting special treatment?...and why are they allowed to have smoking in the casino?..I can't have it in my restaurant....I am told that I need to protect my employees....but the state is saying that the Indians DON"T??...why??...the Indians use the excuse that they can't give free alcohol to you because California won't allow it...yet they allow smoking which California DOESN"T allow....whats up with that??..
The Indian Casinos gets a way with WAY to much. I honestly believe their machines are set not to pay out...you walk into an Indian Casino their so called penny machines which come on people...they are not pennies...who sits there and play one penny, you can but the machine will not pay you on all the lines they have set up on the machines...A lot of the casinos northern calif has their machines set to play up to $5.00...you hit a bonus round and you might bet 25 so called free spins....they can give you 500 free spins, but what is the point and they KNOW this that you don't get any money out of the bonus round...I played their so called penny machines I put $600.00 through their machines, and I am NOT talking about just one or two casinos, I won a total of $13.00 and a few pennies. They throw out plastic luggage, pots and pans (wow just what I want) for prizes. I was told TODAY by a manager at on of the local Indian Casinos, after what I just typed here....You guys put progressive machines in and you want $3.00 a spin to try to win $5,000.00 what kind of idiot would sit there and try to win this progressive when you know you can't win $50.00 bonus round on their tighter than hell machines, and you want us to play $3.00 a spin to try for the jackpot? HIS response to this was...well, the machines are set to pay out at a certain time/amount and if the machines doesn't pay it out, we pocket the money...no sh....t, this is exactly what he said, then they are ripping of and misleading the public, and we support them, basically what they are saying to the public...screw you... Then they take the money they did NOT pay out on that progressive run a contest so you can try to win their crappy cheap plastic luggage or their think Kmart pots and pans with the money they saved NOT paying out the jackpot on the machine. YES they get a way with to much..........I honestly believe they are paying someone off to have brought in the most tightest machines they can get their hands on....ask around the next time you are in an Indian Casino, take a few people at random ask them what they have won, or for that matter have you received any feedback from the machine they have played on. Drinks cost a fortune, at the smaller casinos, I can't choke down the food. I find it ODD, now who in the hell would buy their T shirts, sweat shirts with their logo out of one of their nothing but Indian Crap so I can be a walking bill board for them??? Yes, I want to pay $25.00 to wear a clothing article out of your gift shop to advertise for someone else to come in and get screwed by you....

The Indian Casinos do not pay out, ask people at random BEFORE you put $1.00 into their so called penny machines to see how pissed off people are, they will tell you "I have not won anything, not even a little back to keep playing on" The Indians are so afraid of letting you win a little bit of money you might leave the casino, they want to suck every dime they can out of you, stating "Play only what you can afford" What they should be saying is "We only want to screw you out of everything you own" Why should we play a progressive machine if you can't win $100.00 on one of there so called penny machines? Most of the Indian Casinos wants $3.00 a spin to "try" to win their progressive jackpot machines, they use the excuse of "Nobody is playing them because of the economy"...No this is not try, its because they can't win a few dollars on the pennies, why would I sit any play $3.00 a spin knowing the machines will not pay out...check out how long a progressive machine has sat in one of the casinos, our local has had $20,000.00 for 5 years!!! They will remove it pocket the money, and let you try to win some plastic crap they can't give away, and I was told by a manager of a local casino today, this is how they do it, if that is not misleading/lying to the public what is? We don't know if and when the jackpot paid out they don't show us with pictures, you ask an employee they are told to say, "I was off that day" or "I don't know"...neither the machine did not pay out, the jackpot and look at the money they raked in from people trying to win it..they get away with way to much. Calif is hurting right now, why don't they go after the Indian to make them pay up?? They don't pay out.
I believe the Indians are paying some one off to keep their machines so tight there is no kick back.....

I think its funny how the Indians are turning on EACH other because they are losing money, the reason they are losing money, they are losing customers, the reason they are losing customers, IS...lets say you went in to play 10 times...how much feed back, or how much did you win....NOTHING...you get a bonus round, what do you get, you get a bonus alright, what you get is screwed...I feel sorry for the employees, since the Indian Casino's keeps building larger, more expensive casino's, tightening up their slots, and yes the can...resulting in GREED...I hope they start closing down, just like Nevada. Nevada blames the Indians, NO it is not, if we could win 1 out of the 10 times...or even play awhile...we would go back...see how Reno and Tahoe Casino have closed left and right, I hope this happens to the greedy Indian casinos....OH WELL.

Give them the full soverien status. That also means gates on land borders and the requirement for passports and visas, that we would have to pay and apply for. Also there is a limit to how much cash that we can take out of our country into theirs. This means that I will not be planning a trip there any time soon. This also means that most of us would spend more money, just to get there, than we plan on spending. So, we just won't go.
Side note,
how many rental prperties, off reservation, do they own? Remember, the more you give them, the more they may take next door.

To everyone who is disrespecting my Native people you really need to close your mouth because you have no idea what is really going on. First of all the American people voted on having casinos. Its not the casinos fault that some people can't handle their gambling problems. We earned our sovereignty rights. Don't be mad at Native Americans just because we're finally exercising our rights to capitalize on business profits on our own land. That's right OUR LAND. If you don't like what's going on then don't go to the casino. We can spend our money on anything we want. As long as we are paying the bills then we can have all the electricity we want. Go find someone else to get mad at. And just so you know not all Natives get money or have a casino on their land. I will pry for your hatred to leave your hearts.
