@ Tina & Dave

You two people are the exact duplication of sheep that our government wants.....a bunch of sheepole that follow each other around not questioning anything just because a bunch of politicians say its so?

Do you have even a clue that this country was built on questioning what is deemed legal and what is not? Slaves were legal too at a time? Did that make it right?

Not to mention the draconian drug laws that formed our nation are nothing more than a fraud, a scam to force people that our government deems criminals into a jail system that is privatized more and more for profit every day. Its no surprise to most why they pack them full.

Let me tell you its alot easier and less dangerous for law enforcement to go after NON-VIOLENT OFFENDERS than the dangerous cartels, rapists, and child predators that are truly a danger to our communities.

But yet this country chooses to imprison our citizens on a daily basis under the guise of a WAR on DRUGS???? Using it as a backbone all the while to try and force feed our ever changing constitution.

Let me ask you this. Since the implications of these LAWS that you say make it ILLEGAL since the 70s are less kids using drugs? Are drugs any harder to get? Are the arrests making headway to deter people from using?

Do you two simple minded non-thinking out of the box CITIZENS understand the legislation & regulation that goes into a state of say like Colorado?

What about the revenue it generates for the local communities?

How about the 1000's of jobs it employs in the work force when most companies are downsized and laying people off?

And the strain it takes off law enforcement to go after the people who are truly a danger o your children.....all the while teen marijuana use has went down 7% in the state?

Huh maybe education, regulation & taxation really do work? I just showed you two sheep multiple reason behind our argument show me 1 that supports yours. Other than the great brain storm you two had about it being illegal?

1 last thing for the two of you to think about since neither of you are intelligent enough to form any argument other than "because its illegal"....

Pills and pharmaceuticals in our country are legal. Your bathrooms are surely full of them.

Did you ever, in 1 second of your day, think about how many people die from them? Abuse them? Deal them on the streets? Doctor shop for them?

Guess what they are LEGAL so in your line of thinking this should be OK?

@unknown mommy above....these are studies by doctors believe it or not.
Not unfounded generalizations that mommies that are protecting their kids make online between diaper changes. Go do your research for once not what Jan next door told you over babysitting.
( PhysOrg.com )-- It appears that when it comes to teen brain development, parents should be more worried about alcohol abuse than marijuana abuse. Two recent studies have been published showing that alcohol -- a legal substance (though not legal for teens in the U.S.)-- is considered more dangerous than marijuana, which is illegal in many countries.
One study has been published in the U.S., in the journal Clinical EEG and neuroscience: official journal of the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ENCS), and shows that alcohol has a stronger effect on teen brain development than marijuana. The other is a study published in the Lancet, offering the results of substance classification by a number of U.K. professionals, purporting that alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana to individuals and to society.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
