I think another casino within 15 mins. of Prairie Meadows would force them to have better payouts and comps.I had a problem there just the other day and when I complained I was told I don't gamble at a level high enough for them to worry about making it right with me.I'm all for another gaming choice close to Des Moines.

Just so people are aware, there is no guarantee that the proposed casino would NOT be owned or built by Prairie Meadows. Warren County has NO CONTRACT with Wild Rose. If enough people vote yes on May 7th and the referendum passes, it will mean that ANY casino can come in and attempt for a license to build ANYWHERE in Warren County. People need to realize that the "facts" being thrown out there by the supporters of the casino project are not facts, they are promises. There is no evidence or certainty to any of it. I worry that if the referendum passes on May 7th, Warren County residents will lose the ability to have any input on what comes in to our community. The casino supporters are already censoring, silencing, and ignoring people on their page on facebook, and the casino project hasn't even been approved yet. I don't think this censorship will get better with time. I encourage people to ask questions and gather the facts before blindly believing and making a decision on this issue. Most importantly, I encourage all Warren County residents to please go out and participate in the decision by voting on May 7th.
