How cold are you. This was someones father, the love of someones life. How would you feel is someone said that to bad so sad if your father died. You should feel bad about what you said sorry your life is so bad that you have become this mean and heartless.

Big Earl made enough babies in his life time, so it would be of no concern if a few have passed away.
He also left his sperm at the sperm bank for other women whom he was acquainted with, so I am sure there will be no shortage of children fathered by him.
I am sure his tradition will be carried out by his many children, for years to come.

I just got sick of the garbage and immaturity,it's pointless...all of the intellectual elements of the thread has dissipated,so I'm just sitting back, reading and laughing at the stupidity. I've said what I needed to say. Besides, I have more important things to do than to sit here and post all day and night,I have a son and daughter (ages 14+16) in Mpls who require a lot of attention so they constantly call, and I have 4 daughters in the house (ages 2-11) so imagine that schedule, the amount of emotion and energy needed to maintain them.

LEO you were right about Joke...oh I mean JoeK he is still self proven to be a lunatic...and thanx for not spitting all over my younger cousin when she made a post.

All you other readers who made positive input...thanx for realizing the human factor and helping me to shine light on the fact that Big Earl did have faults, but he did have family too, like the rest of us.

Apparently people have gotten off track here. This article was not about his sex life or his nephews sex life. It was never about who had slept with him or whose wife did what for him. Why would any of you want to brag about what may or may not have happened. It doesn't earn you any more respect from the community. A well known business owner was shot and killed 14 years ago, and the case is yet to be solved. Get over yourselves and look at what it's really about. His family wants answers, and I'm sure you would to if it were you.

I first met Earl Hamilton when I was working undercover as a private investigator in the chain of strip clubs along and around Second Avenue in Des Moines in the 1980s. Like all men, Earl was a mixed bag. I'm sure he loved his family and was loved by them despite the theory that one of his sons killed him or had him killed.(Not the only theory, just one of them.) My impression of Earl is that he was a dangerous man and an accomplished criminal. His death was a direct result of the kind of life he lived and he earned that bullet in the back of his head as much as he ever earned any dollar from any of his criminal activities.

With regard to his nephew's remarks, he's clearly a follower of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. That weird theology of his is straight from Farrakhan's orthodoxy.

I must admit I enjoy this thread although I sure as Hell wouldn't invite any of you freaks to dinner at my house.

the Sheriffs Dept knows who killed Big Earl but they can't get anyone to come forward. It was a guy who's gf/wife had some connection to him. The guy was seen at a local business with a gun the night before the murder and was picked out of a photo lineup.

I've had the opportunity to meet this great man, and I have nothing negative to say about him, only good & positive words of him. I know him to give the next person the shirt off his back & look out for the next guy. Again, he was & always will be a great man!

If he becomes the next Earl he will probably end the same way his father did. Face down in the dirt with a bullet in his head. Be careful what you wish for you might get it. A man that does not want to provide for his children is not a man, he is scum.
I just want to say how date u speak apon my father like that I've never got to meet him but not one soul or stranger has told me any bad things yes he did bad things but was known for his good.

You guys all have it wrong. No ones perfect. I was very very close to him and people (family) act like they know him, but no one was heard from until he died. ugh annoying.

If you didn't meet Earl, or so much have a conversation with him, what more is there to say? I was at his funeral. I was very, very, very close to him. Two reason why he avoided most (including his own family) were the non-stop phone calls asking for money and because they were jealous of what he had. When he died everyone claimed to be his child or some relation. I know this may hurt some of the family members, but the truth does sometimes. As for the nephew, you speak hate, not Love and G-d is love.
