So now where will the brothas from Prospect, Kernville, and Conemaugh Borough go to eat? Hopefully they'll replace the KFC with a Popeye's or a rib shop.

I hate chain stores but this is sad. It is sad that there will be another empty store. what's next?

This isn't sad whatsoever. For years the voters of Johnstown have been electing and re-electing the same group of imbeciles to run the City right into the ground. Johnstown is a ghost town now and there's nothing that can be done to reverse that. These same knuckleheads are the ones who thought that the Kernville Tech Park was going to be something great and look how that project turned out. A complete failure, just like KFC.

It's a complex on Napoleon Street that was built around 2007-08 which was supposed to house and create high paying technical jobs. The city really hyped it up as the next big thing however once Jack Murtha passed away the entire project pretty much died too. There's still a few companies operating out of the Tech Park but for the most part the majority of the offices are empty and unoccupied at this time. A complete failure of a project at this point in time really.

Here's what they predicted about the Tech Park in 2005 when the project was still in the planning stages:

They thought it would create 1,000 new permanent jobs? Wow.
