Pennsylvanians pay $1.7 billion/year for services provided to illegal aliens in this state. The $10 million cost to provide ID is, I am certain, spin on the part of the Democrats. Even if this fact bears out, I am more agreeable to paying $10 million to ensure only eligible people vote than I am in contributing to paying for the future voters the Democrats lay claim to (aka illegal aliens).

Why wouldn't we require an id? Always amazed me when I vote that they don;t ask for id.

They already match your signature in the book. that should be enough. The only thing this will accomplish will to be to intimidate the public not to vote. The state does not have the funds to waste on people that can't afford $13.50 for a state id. That could easily reach expenses of up to $15 million.

Besides, those without id will only vote once just to get a free id. Then they will never vote again and the state just wasted $15 million. Well done Gov. Corbett, here is an idea for you. resign as Gov. of our state. YOU SUCK AT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a solution- Don't vote. Not like it makes any difference anyhow. I will never understand why people waste time standing in line just to vote for one a-hole phoney over some other a-hole phoney. It is all the same, don 't waste your time.
One vote never made a difference.
How many presidents were elected contrary to popular vote?

Stay at work, cook for the kids, what will be will be.
Sooner or later we all drop the soap so what's it matter.

The "System", from our Legislators right down to the local polling places have bent over backwards to make it easier for the voters. I was in a position as former Chief Clerk of the Lehigh County Election and Registration Office, to see first hand how easy voter fraud is. People register multiple times at different addresses and with different birth dates. A person is required by law to present ID when registering for the first time in their particular area. However, there are two areas that don't comply. One is registration drives. The people doing the drives push the registration through without ID many times. And, second is college students. They are registered in their home town, and then go off to college. Now they register in another state. There is no way in the system to track out of state voters. Concequestly the student get to vote in his or her college town, and also by absentee ballot in their home town. This is voter fraud at its best. I believe that all voters, weather by absentee or in person should have to show ID, and, college students must vote, in person in the town that they go to college in, and must show their college ID.

One doesn't have to stretch their imagination to figure which political party is behind such fraud and is the beneficiary of it.
