Everyone knows CREPS Publishing had a disastrous fire a couple of months ago. Since then fundraisers have been everywhere for the affected families: Salvation Army, Facebook, special sites online, etc. I normally would not have a problem with this but most of these people are receiving unemployment. The Salvation Army is stretched thin year-round, and to give from their supplies (for those who have no income) to someone who still has an income (even a reduced one) just doesn't seem right. Especially since there are several other fundraisers out there just for the CREPS employees. Oh, and management? Please take the flag down, it is supposed to be illuminated at night. That shows a lack of respect for our country's flag.

i think you would be amazed at how many people completey agree with what you wrote. I know for myself and many others we are skipping donating to the red kettle this season due to it being partially raised for the creps employees and not those truly in need. Shame on the Salvation Army for this.

I completely agree with your comment. I do feel that they (CREPS) should have overseen better of who was representing them. Most of the fund raisers were done by a employee's spouse and that should have never been allowed. It shoud have been left to donating at the banks mentioned. I wish the best for these families, but you are so rght there are others that are in worse shape and let's not forget our elderly that struggle everyday just for their medicine.

Ya and if you ask questions the lady running everything deletes or blocks you. Tell me that isn't shady.

I have heard many rumors and also it was brought to my attention of these sites. Our social sites are a very powerful tool if used correctly and with experienced professional people with the education to run the site and to also have most importantly.. the right attitude and experience to deal with people, it can either make you or break you, in this case it did not help like it could have due to her. Lastly, please light up our country's flag or take it down.

I agree 100%. Rules for our flag should be upheld, I can understand the chaos but enough time has gone by for someone to take care of this.I agree also with the Salvaion Army being stretched thin, but what wonderful people they are to help so many. I said this before with the fundraising. I think it should have stayed with donating to a bank or the Salvation Army.I do believe that this person on these sites should have stayed out of it. As she has tried to make people believe that some people are saying they deserve nothing is false..trying to promote your own products and being a spouse of an employee and being rude is not who should be in charge of something of this nature. I think she has made such a negative impact on too many people.Let's hope for "everyone" to have food on their table and to have a Happy Holiday!
