According to republicans, there's no need for welfare of any type. Kinda like asking foxes to guard the henhouse.

Maybe he can convince Gov. Corbett to cut $1billion from welfare instead of Education.

DPW has become the whipping child of anyone that wants to fight waste and abuse. Well politicians why dont you start in your office. Lose the perks, staffers, and lobbyists. Then point blame elsewhere.

If you cut 1 billion from welfare you also cut one billion of federal dollars paid to the state. They're called matching funds.
