Palm Desert accepting applications for solar energy loan program

Solar contractor Earl Schmid may spend Sunday night camped out in front of Palm Desert City Hall to make sure he's first in line when the city starts accepting new applications for its energy loan program at 8 a.m. Monday.

Just got my first Electric Bill after installing new windows and an air conditioner. It was more than half of last year. Great program. Seamless and the people at the city are very helpful. Makes me proud to be a PD resident.
