It's official. The Genwove property has completed its clean-up and the environmental study has come back squeaky clean. Never was really a threat, but it did need clean-up of some residual oil. What would you like to see happen on this property?

I went and looked at a map of this property. Wow. it's going to be a great place, centrally located, and I love it's near the library, ball fields, etc.Glad to hear the environmental study shows it a safe place to build a park. I wonder what will become of the large building on the property. I can think of many excellent uses for it. I can't wait to see it transformed into something beautiful. The same four councilmembers voted on this park as on Crossing Paths Park (Darlene Luther, Robert Allen, jeff Goddall and Gary D'Onofio) because the other councilman was absent. I guess it would have passed even if he was against it?

I think the location close the library is great as well. It will great to have a park across the street after taking the kids to library.
