Hanson Brick is clear cutting the remainder of their property to start mining the dirt for making brick. They are required to have a 25 feet buffer between their property and the adjoining landowners. This buffer is nothing in comparison to the size of the machinery that is used in this type of operation. This small buffer area would put them within 50 to 100 feet of most of the adjoining property owners. What are your thoughts?
They have started this clear cutting without notifying the planning board of anything. No permits or anything have been issued to them. The planning board was in total shock when they found out this activity was going on without being notified.
Please come out Tuesday Feb. 22nd at 6:30 pm and help support the area neighbors in stopping this future nuisance from starting up in the first place. Hanson has been a very sensitive topic in years past and looks as if it is going to continue.
Indian Trail has put in place a lot of things to help us to beautify and be a great place to live and then you have this eye sore that is tearing down our local image. The land they already have finished mining looks like a dump with ould tires, garbage and furniture, etc... all over their property and within their bounds. Come help the community out please. And, thanks.
