CRY CRY CRY ... stop b!tching and live with it. We are the armpit, a$$hole, dirtbag, poverty stricken, sewer hole, of Union County. NOTHING will change that, but you and I. We need to stop complaining about how much we pay in taxes, or how bad the economy is, and get off our a$$es and get with the "growth program". Get business to invest here, give them tax breaks, turn this new manager loose and recruit new business to Marshville. You hired him, let him bring in some expansion, instead of cutting back. Give MORE services to the citizens, not less. Make Marshville look like a booming place that businesses will will want to come to, not by cutting services, but by expanding services. Give them a reason to look at Marshville. What CEO would bring a company to a p$sspoor community where the citizens do nothing but complain, council members that are either in court or showing their a$$ in the newspaper. Get rid of these yoyos and move forward.

I wasn't crying or bitching, I was just commenting on an article in the Enquirer Journal.

Only sure things in life, death and taxes you know.

My father stated to me two weeks before he passed away, 23 years ago this coming Saturday and I quote him "Marshville is fast becoming the a$$hole of Union County"......

Oh for the good ole days of Marshville, when downtown was thriving, everyone shopped here and cared for their neighbors.

Marshville has a beautiful library that I got to visit when I was doing some census work in that area. I was very impressed. You should be proud of your town.
