i knew jeff and his brother very well, although i don't condone his actions- it is my understanding that the murder victim had several altercations with buisness assocoates that ended in people getting beat out of money for services rendered. I believe all the facts should be taking into account before a trial is held and/or sentecing.

This Jerry Thompson steals from everyone!!!He doesn't pay his bills ever. He buys big $ items and never pays for them, then hides them so they can't repo them. It's my understanding that He burned his house down last year. His son burned down his house and his parents burned down their house. I've heard if he doesn't want to pay you for work owed and you confront him-he'll beat you up. I feel sorry this happened to Mr. Sterling. I wish he would of just beat the crap out of Thompson. What goes around comes around!!!!

i guess you guys didnt know the guy enough like you all think you did. you dont kill someone over money thats the real mature way of handling money. He was actually a family man and a christian guy. so you guys can say what you want to say and just remember whos locked up and will eat himself alive in there. so you can thank this guy you call a man for this one. hope you guys have a great life knowing that a great guy was killed over stupid shit.

How many other people did Thompson steal from. Do you know? How many times did Thompson beat his kids? Do you know? What does his son think of him? Do you know? Who thinks he's a great guy? Ask his kids, ask the people he stole from. Ask inspectors and sub contractors.....You can call yourself a Christian, many do, but God sees the inside as well as what we see on the outside. The Word of God says not to kill, but it also says not to steal...one sin is not greater than the other. I'm sure alot of people that really knew the things he did feel fine and sleep fine. Let Sterling pay for his actions...Thompson is..And who's judging, just making observations on the fact presented from people who did business with the man!!!!

I do not care what kind of person Jerry Thompson was. He as a Son, Brother, Husband, Father, & Grandfather. As well, so was Jeffrey Sterling a Son, & Father. This murder ruined 2 families lives and neither will ever be the same. I know as a parent you never expect to bury one of your own children and you never get over their death. Also do you ever get over knowing your son killed a man over money? I think everyone should be praying for both families.

Jerry finaly got what he threaten so many others with. He personally theatened to kill me and some of my relatives who were trying to collect for work we legitimately performed for him. When you first met him - he always made a big thing of how "Christian" he was to help let him get by with his stealing.
Did you really believe the fire at his residence was an accident - he had several of those fires - when he couldn't pay the bills
I would be happy to donate to Sterlings defense. He did the construction business a favor.

Christian? I say hypochristian! When you have to tell someone that typically means you are selling a load of bullshit. Actions based on christian principles are what makes someone a true christian.
Too damn many people hiding behind an alleged belief in Christ, God, whomever they pray to. Those same people walk out of church and bend some poor sap over and anally rape them.
Oh, how about some of you illiterate degenerates learn to read, no wonder this country has declined so much.

Killing is wrong, nothing justifies it...... Its a tragedy no matter what happens to the killer. I didn't know either of them but nothing justifies killing.
