Was this in the classified section? It's hardly news. I hope the person who wrote that was paying for the space they took up.

If he was a PIGMENT of our imagination we could see him. Do you know what Pigment means. Idiot.

pigment - shmigment! it really does not matter if someone says it right or wrong. either way, there will always be some 'noble one' to point fingers - just like in church.

HBIC: i feel your pain. I believe, but people sure scare me away. Church and what goes on behind it's cult doors is what is intimidating.

God himself never intended for what partakes and for us to feel like we do.

I hope you find solace in life. Life is complicated, and it hurts when others make it worse.

and for the record, it is figment of one's imagination. it's all good.

Lord help those who do not know you. Try praying sometime. You might find that it works. God help you.

If there is a God as imagined by Jews, Christians, and Muslims, He should be sued for negligence. A God who has done nothing to stop the atrocities of the past two thousand years, many committed in His very name, isn't worth a bucket of warm spit.

The era of the patriarichal, punishing God, God as a cosmic Saddam Hussein, is coming to its end. Long live the once and future Loving Mother Goddess, the green Goddess of this beautiful living planet.

God is for the weak and th misguided. If you can't believe something or hold onto a belief, or there's no other explanation for something, you turn your pity to God. If God does exist, the entity is by far more than "good" being. Ever notice that God sent angels to do the killing? Yea, take that into thought.
Pray to a gallon of milk, you'll get the same results as to praying to God.
Worship the Sun. It provides us with vitality.

It's obvious that you have never experienced our loving Father.I am neither weak nor misguided and I know my Father exists and that He answers prayer. A gallon of milk will spoil in a short time. God is always there and always ready to hear our needs, but He also wants to hear our thanks and our praise. If you stay out in the sun too long you're gonna get burned. Better to trust in the 'Son".

No I haven't and I won't bring myself to do it.
Let's say someone is overweight. They're praying to God to help them lose weight. Okay, instead of believing in prayer, I believe people should believe in themselves. So instead of wishing on some skinny miracle, they should take their ass into a gym and work it off.

Self Help. Life awareness.
God is a schmuck.

I agree people shouldn't pray for frivilous things....if you're overweight, you should pray for guidance and help with willpower.

Only a schmuck would call God a schmuck. Can you tell me what is wreong in believing in a 'Higher Power'? It's much better than what a lot of people believe in.

Wrong. I find your opinion wrong.
Sorry Jacky, but I fight the thoughts of an higher authority.

You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other
religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved
from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that
we were created from dirt.

You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune
God.

Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to
Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah
slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination
of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and
trees!

You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods
sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit
impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came
back to life and then ascended into the sky.

You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the
scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find
nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting
in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of
those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects -
will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your
religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

hile modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to
convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in
"tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered
prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think
that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the
Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a
Christian.

Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever
God needed to punish someone, or make an example,
or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an
angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like
that must be like? A whole existence spent
praising your God, but always with one wing dipped
in blood.
