The city manager said it would only cost $10,000-$15,000 to fix that place up. Either he's stupid, he thinks we're stupid, or he's lying to us. That place will cost at least $40,000 to whip in shape. Too bad it can't be rented to people working hard at a job but having a hard time making it.

It is with hopes that when the house is ready for rent, it will include the thousands of dollars that it will cost to make it completely ADA accessible, otherwise we will see the USDOJ swoop down an whack us with more fines that we will have to pay.

I wish to God that it had been bulldozed like the church that was to the east of it. That would have been more sensible economically.
