Hackney is hiring, Amazon always needs workers, Southwire needs people, there's jobs around, one might take a pay cut until times get better, but geez, one CAN make a living around here.

Yes, even though it's not the most pleasant place to work, you can bring home close to $700/wk at Southwire.

I would like to know why they are laying off people. If you have to move for a job, AT&T is adding a thousand jobs in Tulsa.

How many are expected to get laid off? I thought Cessna was doing pretty well.

I believe the question was why Cessna was laying off again, not your political opinion.

You sir or ma'am are a God damn smart ass. Is that plain enough for you? Maybe you need an enema of the brain shit head. The question remains, how many are supposed to get laid off?
Please

It is pretty simple. No plane sales, workers laid off. And that Obama answer is bull and nothing but a straw man argument by those dumb enough to not know the difference. Our economy is now stronger than it has been in a very long time. Better than when GWB screwed it all up by chasing weapons of mass destruction. Have you seen the DOW today? Higher than ever..so, please disregard the political anyalysis of the rascist.

Human Rights -
Spoken like a true Democrat.
How do you figure the economy is stronger than ever? The DOW has been up for some time now and I don't see any new jobs being added. Unemployment is still high and the reason why that it might have decreased is that people have run out of time drawing employment benefits or just flat gave up.
Why are companies reducing their workforce to avoid paying for Obamacare.?
Stop listening to the media and pay attention!

How about more like 100 jobs at a call center. 1000 jobs...I don't think so.

And if you've ever worked at a call center, as I have more than once, you know those tend to be sh*t jobs.

These are not production jobs, they are indirect labor jobs that are affected. Indy, Wichita, and service centers around the world. Maybe Mexico too? Obama is not friendly to general aviation but he can sure fly around in his jet,,,to the cost of $185,000 an hour to operate! Oh my!,,,he took a $20,000 pay cut to help out with his sequestration bs,,,that equates to 9.25 minutes operating his jet, Airforce One. But anyone who can fly around in a Citation X is a "fatcat". Yeah, right Obama. Bet he NEVER show his face in Wichita, KS!!!
