Well whom as the least talent and parents with the most money will win like every year. So it's like a 50/50 thing of a roundup of talent and BS. Sorry that's just the way it is,actually no I'm not sorry its all about some group of people deciding the outcome depending on the social status of the girl. She could be trailer trash and smarter etc. better than the other girls. I't all about appeasement for them etc.

First of all whoever was in charge of the curtains.. needs fired and not asked back. Are you kidding me with 2 if not 3 times the curtains were to be drawn back and nothing for minutes. Then to bring out last years queen and have her stand there for at least 5 min with the lights on and the lady was still talking ... how uncomfortable for her. I'm sure the curtains were NOT supposed to be pulled back then. I just think as much practice as THEY the crew doing it .. that should not have happened. With that said.. I thought the girls looked pretty and did a good job. Yes, the top 3 were from out of town but that's called being honest and fair. JUST because your from INdy doesn't give you the "right" to be in the top 3 OR does it.? If that's the case the whole thing is a fluke!!!!

I thought the show was wonderful. Every show will have a few hicups along the way as for so much practicing that just isnt true they only practice the day of cornation and as for being fired. Newsflash the show was put on by all volunteers. So before you start trashing everyone behind the curtain lets think about what you did this year to help with Neewollah. Kudos to all volunteers and thank you for taking the time to put on a show that little girls everywhere can dream about and be excited about in their future.

Fired is a figure of speech so now need for newsflash - Everyone knows they are volunteers... You can't tell me those curtains were only pulled the night before.. NO WAY.. bottom line is those hiccups could have been avoided.. it's called paying attention.. I mean I see it happening ONCE but more than that and for a peiord of time -we are talking minutes. Other than that I'm with you the show was great. I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one that noticed the curtain "hiccups".

This show (like most Neewollah shows) was put on by volunteers who donate a lot of their own time so the rest of us can enjoy it. Maybe next year, YOU could volunteer so you could show them how to do everything right. You may also be a little more appreciative of our valuable Neewollah volunteers.

That would be great (but I doubt if it will really happen).

It doesn't look good to judge so irrationally and condescendingly with virtually no deeper knowledge of the production process. The show ran fantastically smooth with VERY minimal dead time, a result of great coordination and hard work from everybody on the crew.

You came here to complain about such insignificance as an early curtain (and I do know for a fact this only occurred once) so I'll happily accept your gratitude for a well-paced performance and the time I, and we, gave up to volunteer. There are thinkers and there are doers.

The curtain's electric.
Fact

#20 Oct 25, 2012
The curtains are not electric, there was only one issue with curtains not opening as fast as one would like, and the only reason the curtains don't get pulled right away is because there is a volunteer behind the curtain making sure that the props are set or the mic's are on...which sometimes doesn't happen due to technical issues then causing further delay. Proceed... :)
