I have an idea. Keep the druggies in jail/no questions asked / no visitors etc. and let them go thru hell & clean them up. Charles has been in & out forever. Keep the druggies behind bars. Thats it.. Done. It will be like rehab.

without all the 'druggies', our honest and greatly appreciated law enforcement wouldnt have all that revenue generated from drug bust which include fines and state funded dollars to aid our boys in blue wit extra equipment and dumb sh!t they requst.

we wouldnt want the towns 'finest' to have to revert to traffic violations to pay their paithetic salaries. ever been pulled over for doin slighty over the speed limit, barely rolling through a stop sign, or not signaling before changing lanes???

Ever think about adopting safe driving habits; like driving the speed limit, stopping at stop signs, and signaling for a lane change? Your safe driving habits help serve as a model for others on the road. If you habits are sloppy then others think they can get away with sloppy driving habits also.

Of course, the cops in this town aren't always safe driving models either; I've observed all of the above infractions and more from our police department and not just while in hot pursuit.

I'm sorry...I shouldn't critize you for bad driving...You've had our police department as a bad example. I'll STFU and continue to swerve out of the way of errant cops crusing for driving violations while sporting their own...

Before I get some cop on here telling me that they have the right to drive in any fashion while enforcing the law, let me remind them that they should lead by example...while just patrolling they should follow Kansas Law.

How did we get off the Drug Subject? I will tell you what the cops in any town USA can't do>>> They can Never stop the AH's that constantly text while driving. Lots of accidents due to using the damn phone. There is no way a cop could pull over someone using a phone. So more to worry about while driving. It sucks. The people who murder & the druggies get away all the time. How many times does a person have to get arrested Before they get a stiff sentance. Its a joke around here how no one gets time. So please note* there are many criminals walking around scot free. Beware. Cops by the way are allowed to speed WHY? I was told they were trained....... LMAO

For the most part 95% of law enforcment officers make good cases. It's the prosecution side of it that is messed up. Most of the time Prosecutors made plea bargins on serious cases and the bad guy gets little to nothing out of it, but it still shows a win for the prosecutors. That's where cops get a bad rap. Everyone wants to immediately blame them for the bad guy being out of jail. I'll admitt there is that 5% that can't make a good case if it slapped them in the face but you always have some type of [email protected] bag in every job out there. Oh and as far as cops not using their signals and such while in hot pursuit...really??? I'm not even going to try and justify that with an answer, that's just stupid. Hence the lights and siren. Duh! As far as not obeying traffic laws any other time i agree...they should just like anyone else.

obviously enforcing laws on druggies doesn't make them stop using drugs. if you're worried about a user going in and out of the system, then get rid of the expensive and useless war on drugs.

charles is a good person when he is off the stuff, worked with him about 10yrs ago, hard worker and a big heart, when he is clean, drugs is a big problem where i live in town, not enough room in jail for all my neighbors, and its going to get worse before it gets better. times are hard, drugs and crime will follow.
