I checked Bartlett's price last night and it's $2.05/gal. Two weeks ago, it was $1.89/gal. We're down to about 35% and keeping our thermostat low.
They really are taking advantage of people on this, because there really isn;t a shortage, it's just because of the weather that the suppliers couldn't get in to refill their storage tanks. Propane use to follow crude oil prices, and now that crude is down to $92/bbl.,roughly, propane shouldn't be this high. Of course, you notice they haven't lowered gas or diesel prices and oil has dropped $6/bbl since Christmas. Yet when it went up a $1 or 2, they immediately raised it .10, then .20/gal.
