I think he is a shrewed politican with a liberal agenda. That being said,I do agree with some of his ideas but he just believes the goverment should run and control everyones life which I don't agree with.I do think the Tea Party has been a big thorn in his side and has caused some grid lock in the way our government has been able to get things done.I do believe there is a group in government that would like noting more than to sabatoge his presidency, which is not right.I just hope and pray that by 2016
our country is in better shape than it is now and can move forward as a great nation.

I think he is an empty suit "puppet" that rose from nowhere with extensive help from powerful backers.
He is a dangerous political force bent on running this once great nation into the ground for his/their benefit.

If I am way off base....someone please explain to me how you can go from being a state legislator with little to no record (unless you count voting "present" a great deal) to making the keynote speech at the party's national convention (2004) to running for president after a year and a few months as a US senator. This doesn't happen without some "strings" being pulled......
All I'm saying.....

Take a man with a million dollars, tax his million at 55%, or $550,000., redistribute that $550,000 to 1000 people, you will lose 1 vote, but gain 1000. Welcome to the Democratic way!

Wait till amnesty for all the illegal aliens gets pushed thru under the heading of "immigration reform" and all those illegal aliens become lifelong democrat voters (buying their votes with anmnesty) and then for good measure throw in some "free goodies" bought with increased taxes and loopholes (closed on the "middle class").

Hang on to your wallet.....we ain't seen nothing yet.

Well said, muffin cake. Clearly the conservative view is better... Take a man with a million dollars. Reduce his taxes so he can spend more on donations to conservative candidates. Let the poor and disadvantaged people die under the guise that it's "god's will". Welcome to the Republican way!

Anyone can make a straw man argument. The problem is that they are too persuasive, despite their lack of content.

You libs make me sick and you make this country weak. You talk of supporting the poor and weak but yet support late term abortions and peta. You want higher taxes as long as you don't pay more. You support more government assistance yet give considerably less to charities. I just wish u were a different color, say blue, so I can pick u out.

Conservatives, as you have demonstrated, are really good at arguments... especially the straw man kind. You're very good at seeing reality, and the reality is that everybody can be defined by a stereotype. For example (let's use yours), if someone appears to think differently than I do about tax policy, then I am forced to assume that person also supports late term abortions and the views of PETA, even though they have not given any indication of their views on those subjects. Brilliant! I'm jealous of your ability to use irrelevant topics derived from poorly developed reasoning skills in order to self-perpetuate a straw man view of people who are different. And don't listen to them folks who think that using this tactic is foolish and logically inconsistent. What do they know? They're probably just gay, anti-gun, prius driving, god haters.
