I went to school with Shannon and her brothers. A former classmate told me the news just today about Shannon. She always had a smile on her face. And she would always talk to me. She will be missed by her classmates and as well as her family and husband and children. I am writing to say that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Shannon is at piece with our Lord Jesus. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you

No Gary didn't die. Yes they were going to her brothers graduation. After the accident they had it listed on KHP website. According to the report Gary either hit the deer or tried to miss it, causing him to head straight on into a semi which the majority of the blow was on Shannons side. She died instantly. Gary was life flighted to Joplin where he had a few surgeries. I heard where he was the other day but I can't remember where. He is alive but is facing more surgeries.

I finally got out of the hospital. It was a terrible ordeal the accident and all. I miss Shannon very much. I am her husband that was in the accident with her. I shouldn't have survived. God miraculously caused this to be. I will see her again soon. This is only a story that only her and I can tell. I miss her very much but it won't be long till its time for me to go home and see her too.

Heard you are moving? Where too? Hope life treats you well. It might be hard doing it alone though.

We all miss Shannon very much. We think of her all the time. Gary, we hope that you are healing well. I cannot believe a year is coming up. I still wear the bff ring that Shannon & I had and think of her and miss her more than anything.

Would love to see that smile.

It was extremely hard...God had a plan I would have never thought things would be the way there are today... Thank you all for the prayers. Shannon was a unique, awesome person and we will all see each other again celebrating the life God gave us...

what happened to the wife and family with children that you walked away from? was that gods plan also? or do you just do things your own way and call it the plan of god? something you might need to address someday.

and there is no marriage in heaven if you believe the bible just a little bit. there is no giving in marriage there. the truth is you came to this town, manipulated people at times, for money, tried to preach, for money, called that "god", then left your wife and children, whether it was mutual or not, no one knows. you married someone else who had children. and god judged your life, but let you live. everybody has done wrong things and we pay for it in certain ways. sorry to have to put it out here like this, but your hypocrisy is amazing. you could have been a selfish mammon worshipping womanizer. that is between you and god. but dont say "god had a plan" the plan was god didnt agree with your plan. why did you live? good question. you should stand up and address these things. dont blame god for a wicked heart. we all fall short. but even if the truth hurts we all are held accountable.

I don't care who you attack on here but leave Shannon out of it. You are destroying a peace of her memory. She was a beautiful person. To read her name on here is very hurtful. I can not even imagine how her family misses her. Please move on and leave this subject alone!
