I haven't gone to her, but I've seen her work and I honestly can't believe she even claims it to be professional! It is absolutely horrible! I have some good friends who used her and were very disappointed so she tried offering them a free session which they didn't want to take. I've seen her telling people different prices, on facebook and craigslist, I try to mark her posts as spam as much as possible. She is a lowlife.

Get a life! I have used her and will continue to do so! She is awesome and great with her clients. Not to mention, cheap!

I have used Dreams to Memories photography several times now and have been very happy with the pictures! For the price, it is always an amazing value, and you get a cd and copy rights to all pictures taken. It is ideal for those of us who either cannot afford the outrageous fees that other photographers charge (including print packages) or do not live close enough to a Sears or Walmart that has a portrait studio. I once had photographs taken by a "professional" photographer, and they were AWFUL and the cheapest print package was over 100 dollars. I have never been let down by this business.

I read in the City of Independence minutes that Dreams to Memories photography has gotten a license. I would simply like to warn people about this company. They are not professional. They claim to get their photos printed from a professional lab in Springfield when they have been observed printing their copyrighted photos at the Wal-Mart photo lab here in Independence. They are late in delivering photos, at times even missing holidays when a holiday package was what was advertised and ordered. I have had a very bad experience, as have others, who I will encourage to fill in this forum if need be. Dreams to Memories preys on people who have limited incomes, offering them "professional portraits" at a very good rate. Unfortunately the portraits are not professional, the photographer has not had any formal training, and at best they could be described as scam artists. If you wish to have professional portraits, please look around for a different company or individual.
1. Everyone that has a business has to get a license. What is your point?
2. They do get their photos printed in Springfield. There is a good reason they were seen at WM photography and it had nothing to do with getting customer photos processed.
3. How many holiday packages were actually late getting to customers? Please don't exaggerate.
4. Packages are very affordable. You want to pay $300 for professional pictures. Go ahead. Not everyone can do this.
5. I have see the quality of these photos and they are excellent. She is very knowlegeable about photography.
6. I highly reccommend this company for very well done photos. She is very methodiocal with her work.

I am the owner of Dreams to Memories Photography. What To Let You Know said was true. I did have to have my prints printed off at Walmart. What she failed to say was why. My computer completely crashed 2 weeks before Christmas, while I was in the middle of editing the sessions I was working on. I lost everything, all the pictures I had done, all the time I had put in. By the time I re-edited them, it was only a few days til Christmas. I didn't have the time to send them to the lab I use in Springfield and get them back on time, even with rush delivery. I made the prints at Walmart, inclosed a gift certificate for a free session for everyone that ordered prints that day and delivered them before Christmas. If To Let You Know is the person I'm thinking of, they recieved a complete monitary compensation. I am a portrait photographer. I have never once touted myself as a "professional portrait photographer". It's true, I have had very little formal training. Everything I've learned, I've taught myself. As for Agree, I'm sorry your friends were displeased with the portraits they recieved. And I am sorry that they have not taken advantage of the free session I provided. That is their choice, one I cannot make for them. If I ever had a displeased customer, I always try to make it right, no matter what the problem.
And Agree- The reason I post different prices on Facebook or Craigslist is because I run specials. Mini Sessions. The only two I have done are Halloween and Christmas, both to great reviews. My normal session fee is $40.
I am truly sorry that you were displeased with your portraits, To Let You Know. I have rectified the situation. In the future, if you have a problem with my business or it's practices, please come to me. My phone number is 620-605-2471 and I'd be happy to take your call at any time.

These bad posts make me wonder what these people teach their children or grandchildren, and how they treat even their friends. Is it to go behind peoples backs and slam them? Being mean or bullying is ok as long as you don't do it to their victims faces? Is it ok to "leave out" pertinent information that makes you a lier? And that by doing so, make yourself look like a victim? It appears to me that everything possible was done, that could be done. Every effort was made to stand up to the original agreement. Looks to me you made yourself look bad because of all the ommisions that made in the original story. Let the businesses, amateur or professional in Independence, Ks stand up and take notice that there are people who are out there claiming to be professional customers..so watch out for them!

I am sorry you had one bad experience, but I am sure she is grateful for the free advertisement. Dreams to Memories Photography was started as a past time because she enjoys to do this. She is a very Kind hearted person that does her best to make people happy. She does not NOR would she ever SCAM someone. I am appalled at the hatefulness directed at her. SERIOUSLY!! So because she owns a photography business she is not allowed to process personal pics at wal-mart? If you did not want the discount you should have went to get what you consider to be professional for double price with absolutely no heart put into the work. I cannot afford professional pictures, she made them affordable for me. If you dont like it go elsewhere! Dont bash what you do not understand or appreciate. You are only showing your own ignorance!

Oh u know what they say if they talking about you they leaving someone else alone....
I have used this photographer and she did a great job with my kids, thanks so much...
As far as the developing at Walmart the photographer has a family member that works in the photo department there which would probably be the reason you think pics are being printed there... HMMM

Just how many times are Breanne and her mother going to post on here? The original poster was not being mean to an individual, they were stating that they had a bad experience and were letting people know to prevent them from the same thing. And the original poster did not mention anything to make other posters know the actual situation, so all of the "you left details out" posts are null and void due to the fact that it is someone from Dreams to Memories "anonymously" posting. Which in turn negates the authenticity of the "how do raise your kids...to talk behind people's backs...etc" posts, because in fact Dreams to Memories is now doing the same thing, i.e. posting anonymously. If the accounts of this company being professional, hard working, etc are true, then they need to stop trying to work up a firestorm of sympathy on topix and be true to their ideals. One person says they had a bad experience. Unfortunately word of mouth carries a lot of weight. So it is up to YOU, Dreams to Memories, to get out there and prove them wrong. Not on Topix, not posting as fictional customers. A successful business takes hard work and professionalism. One person has said you do not possess this. Is your time online going to be an effective way to counteract their claim? No.

Just chiming in here, I am an actual customer as well and not someone from the company posing, and was very happy with the work done. I would be happy to prove it! Thank you!

I run a business and when someone calls me to complain and refuses to give me their name I do not take the complaint seriously. My point is man up tell me who you are and give the accused an opportunity to speak their side of the story.
Then we as the "informed" public can make an assessment as to the validity of your complaint or determine if you have a personal axe to grind with the company and/or owners. So let me know...

Looked up her work on FB... needs alot of work but hey you have to start somewhere. You can tell she is not a "professional" and still building her clients because she offers free sessions left and right. But really, what defines a professional? She has a license now. Aparently they give those to anyone now-a-days.. Still, she's just trying to make a living like everyone else. There seems to be alot of photographers popping up around here, so if you don't like her work there are many others... On the first comment, I do beleive her intentions were to warn people of her experience but should have brought it up to her instead of topix... topix is just pure evil!

I was one of Breanne's clients who ALMOST lost the pics that were taken. As soon as her PC crashed she contacted me, told me what had happened, then offered to either refund my money since the pics may not make it before Christmas or wait it out. I waited and was absolutely pleased with the results. Our entire family was thrilled. She ordered the pics (from a company out of Springfield) and, surprisingly, received them back in just a few days. To make up for the issues, Breanne ordered additional prints. I am very pleased with her work. She does very well for a beginner. As far as all the free offers... How else do you get preview photos for any one to see? Would you seriously hire some one to shoot your pics without ever seeing their work? I know I wouldn't. She has a great personality, I love what she's done with my daughter and I like her pics. She doesn't come off as a "know it all" and talk down to clients. Nor does she charge more than she thinks her work is worth. This is just my OPINION. Every one has their own. I just wanted to add mine.

Being a photographer (landscape) I know there is a huge difference in walmart prints and lab prints, if I was even offered walmart prints I would be more the irrate.

Would y'all just get over it. She does not print her pictures at walmart! Her mother works there in the camera department, so of course everyone would assume. So you know what that make them!

word for word, now I know it was a one time thing but people have the right to be upset, if you take money from a client Walmart is never appropriate.

My fiance and I had our engagement pictures done by her and they are wonderful. She is doing our wedding pictures and I trust her work. Breanne is kind as well as helpful and I will go to her for all our family pictures. She offers a good quality for a fair price unlike one photographer who wanted to charge us over a thousand dollars before we could get our prints. I would go to her for everything.
