It is crazy how many affairs go on inside the work places here in Indy. It is also crazy that nothing is ever done to these people that have the affairs and break up families by the businesses.

It has nothing to do with the place of employment. It has everything to do with the lack of a moral compass on the employees part.

In my opinion, that is wrong period. There was no effort made to stop blatant in your face affairs at Cessna. One woman's husband came right through the paint shop looking for a guy. Another couple were alleged to have been found having sex between the outer wall and paint booth wall. Another case, Paint Shop Manager and Team Lead had affair, poor sap husband also worked in Paint. Cessna knew full well what was going on. Don't even go there. Believe me, there are employers who would fire someone in a heartbeat for misconduct in the work place. Yes, it is the fault of those employees and or managers involved but when an employer knows about this sort of thing and does nothing about it is most certainly the employer to blame in part for condoning such a thing.

Cessna has been like that since day one. The original managers would sleep with the women and soon they would be moved up to better jobs. Happened over and over. And everyone knew it. It was the ones that built the first planes in Wichita before it opened up out here. Still going on. They were pigs. Always taking favors from the men such as I give you money, etc if you promote me. It was a joke that Cessna thought they picked the leadership that was to be put in place. It is a good ole boys club.

There was a person who called Cessna and spoke with the head of HR about their spouse who was a manager having an affair with a line employee. They put the person on hold and then when they picked up phone they had speaker phone on so more Cessna employees could hear the conversation. The HR said it didn't matter if people were having affairs as long as it didn't interfere with their job performance.

In my long and varied experience, HR people everywhere tend to be lower than rat sh*t.

It is not an employers responsibility to decide other peoples morality. If it is interfering with company operations, it is their responsibility. Other than that, if you can't keep your spouse on a leash, how do you expect their work supervisor to?

there are higher ups in HR that are as guilty or more guilty of affairs than most... i know who you are..........
there are area leads that walk the floor and look into the planes like they are window shopping for thier next piece of ass.. saw it happen more than a couple times and of course these girls are gonna go for what ever the guys wants.. its that whole "ooh the big big boss thinks im special" thing.. sick.

Right.Employer's job is making sure the employee is doing what he's paid to do (such as do the employer's work instead of doing things like posting to Topix).

Here is the the deal though...when u have an affair at work and your using your work computer for facebook, topix, emailing, and other non-work related things along with your work cell phone to call and text the person your having the affair with. Then this should become the companies problem, but instead it is overlooked. Sometimes because of who the person is and sometimes because the company has no values anymore.
