pissed off custmer

I was in the Braum's store Saturday night and they were quite busy. I know that working with the public is though but the workers that night suck. There was a couple of girls waiting and talking to their friends that were suppose to be working, they were blocking the drinks and the condiment table. Yes there was a manager there. This is not the only place this happens I was a Walmart trying to check out the other night and the cashier was talking to his girlfriend while he was trying to work. Scan and return this happened three times when he kept scaning my stuff twice. I know that you get what you pay for but crap make some rules the workers have to follow.

Did you complain face to face with the manager or just gripe anonymously on this POS website?

if she is a manager and she cant watch them, then she is no manager. one complaint by a customer should cause a manager to get the employees alone, counsel them, and if no improvement, fire them. they dont pay anyone there very much, but that is no excuse.. i have been in there at times when there were 3 people trying to do the job of about 8, then i have been there when there were 12 people there. more complaints they might get something done, it might even be worth a call to the home office in oklahoma city,, after all it is the only braums we have, and i shop there on occasion for certain items i do not want to go to walmar for, milk, ice cream bars, eggs, some produce, ice cream cones,, etc, frankly the owners are screwing the public here, they dont pay the employees much over minimum wage, so they get what they pay for. we get the results.

They need good management there. I called the home office about 2 weeks ago because, twice, we went there and I got a burger that obviously had been sitting there awhile. The second time that it happened I asked for a new burger. They brought me back the same burger....which they had obviously just put back on the grill for a few and warmed it up. It was charred on the edges. When I called OKC I was told that the district manager would call me in a couple of days. I have been waiting (in case the DM was in charge of Joplin too) but, to date, haven't gotten a callback.

The comment by the manager is common these days in any company. True, this is just a fast food place, but the fact is, they don't pay managers enough to do a really good job. I know of a company, whom I choose not to mention by name right now, that is not following safety procedures according to safety protocol. They're signing off on paperwork saying they're doing what they're NOT doing. When an employee complained to the management, he just commented, "Well, we're not perfect." The problem is they're promoting people who are doing this, and then not promoting their conscientious employees who are trying to do what's right. And safety is a big issue in this company. If you go to their website, they have safety written all over it.

I work at the Braums and can aggree whole heartedly.
The nightconsists of nothing but teenagers and a manager thats halfed backed all the time, to where she drove her car into a pond.
The food is great if you get it fresh so make sure u say fresh if not store polisie is keep 5 1/3 & 1/6 burgers on the grill at all tumes, wich i think is crap.
As for wages i dont know how much the managers get payed except for there all on salary i get payed 8.00$ an hr wich i do think is to bad compared to other fast food places.
And today a guy was just fired for standing around and talking so i think there stepping up on tjat peoblem then againthar was during the day when the managers actually do care.

First off all night shift does all of day shifts jobs. The teenagers do more then any of the lazy adults. All day shift does it sits there and gossips.. and if the manager were half baked all the time penny would notice and something would be done about it. She wrecked her car on one of her days off. so maybe you should stop talking about your managers when you don't even know what happened. OH and I work there too :) and you need some help with your spelling.

I've been there one time a couple of years ago and the service wasn't very good and the place needed a good cleaning.

I won't even USE the bathroom there....it is always filthy!!

We went there again, recently, and I made sure I asked for a "fresh made" hamburger. What I got was NOT made fresh. We are about to "vote with our dollars" and go someplace else.

I called (again) to get a district manager and it is now 5 days later and still no call. This time I got the automated customer service message and had to leave a voicemail!!

Lol its funny your so defensive about this.
Im sure this is your first job in which you have no idea about the real world and how things work.
I never said day shift was perfect. There are alot of ppl working day that need to be fiered and managers that need to be dealt with, but i will say night shift is no better due to lack of manager skill.
The whole resturaunt needs to be evaluated. I dint know who half the ppl there including managers have managed to last as long as they have.

the evening manager should be able to notice that nothing is getting done, or getting done right. i do not work at braums, so i am giving an educated, and observent point of view. part of a manager's job is to get people to work. to watch labor hours. which means time is money. apparently, the evening manager needs to go to being a crew member and hire someone more competent, and WORTH the salary.

Mane, get a life. I mean, the people hating on braums have reasons to. There are problems that exist there that are easily seen.

I AM AT BRAUMS EVERYDAY. I STOP AND PICK UP MILK, AND A FEW PRODUCE ITEMS. OCCASIONALLY WE GET BURGERS, AND GET SHAKES FOR THE KIDS AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK. NOT ONLY DO THE WORKERS NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT THEY ALSO DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE IN STORE COUPONS, OR HOW THEY CHARGE YOU FOR ITEMS. ON MANY OCCASIONS I HAVE BEEN CHARGED COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRICES ON THE SAME ITEM. MOST OF THE TIME THE MILK COOLER IS COMPLETELY EMPTY OF VIT D MILK HOWEVER THERE IS PLENTY IN THE BACK, JUST NO ONE HAS QUIT JAWJACKING LONG ENOUGH TO STOCK IT. I USED TO BE A RETAIL MANAGER AND A DISTRICT MANAGER FOR A LARGE RETAIL OUTLET AND TRUST ME, I ALWAYS HAD APPLICATIONS ON HAND AND READY TO INTERVIEW. I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH GETTING RID OF THE BAD HELP SO THAT MY BUSINESS WOULD NOT BE RAN INTO THE GROUND.

I am so sorry to say this but i agree with all the negatatives against Braums. I loved the store but theworkers do not care about their customers and it is getting to be the dirist fastfood resturant in town.

So why do you keep going back everyday? WHy don't you make your complaint and stop going or make it and see if it improves and then if it doesn't stop going back. We end up with bad customer service because we continue to support the business' that give us that kind of service. STOP IT! Why should they change when you keep going back? If their sales are still up then mangement doesn't see the problem and neither does corporate. Shouldn't you know that?
