No one has gotten rid of anything, that is the problem. The Chief needs to go, the officer involved, needs to go. The Mayor who knew about it and promoted the Chief anyway, needs to go. The city attorney, who obviously did not advise them not to do it, needs to go. There was liability on the part of the City, that means their actions or inaction was a responsibility they did not uphold, therefore they chose to payout $450,000. Yes, THEY DID SOMETHING WRONG!
Clean house and start from scratch.

Alicia Ott, former police officer with the Arnold Police Department, filed a sexual discrimination suit against Chief Robert Shockey, P.O. The City of Arnold pays a half million in premiums to MIRMA, so don't say the taxpayers didn't pay anything, they did, and plenty.
Now you named names. Hope that Moss loses so that you don't end up sued by Sweeney and all the people you just convicted on a public forum.

So names were named, so what? There is nothing in that statement that is not true. Hope you drop down a deep abyss so that no one has to bother with reading your tripe in this public forum.

You screw up any topic on this forum. This is about Alicia Ott, former police officer with the Arnold Police Department, who filed a sexual discrimination suit against Arnold Police Chief Robert Shockey, P.O. Owen Conarow and the City of Arnold and was able to walk away with a $450,000 cash settlement. The City of Arnold pays a half million in premiums to MIRMA, so don't say the taxpayers didn't pay anything, they paid plenty.

Can we say, Mrs. Ott received $450,000 settlement as a result of her sexual harassment complaint against the City of Arnold, Arnold Police Chief Robert Shocker and P.O. Owen Conarow? That is the subject of this thread. See if you can stay on point.

And you have convicted people in a public forum on a case that has never gone to court. That is on point. And the other point that is derived is that if Moss wins his case that gives Sweeney precedence to go after you for your statements on this case.

Mrs. Ott earned that money the old fashioned way, because of stupid people and good lawyers.

So are you calling those involved from the city stupid and their lawyer bad? If that is the case I would have to agree with you.

Conviction wrote:
This is why settling for $450,000 is a conviction. The only difference being that if there were video evidence in Arnold, we didn't get to see it. Maybe that was part of what the police department got fined for not turning over to the judge? Got to figure our local case was even worse as the dollars were much greater!

A link from Texas. Irrelevant to Arnold.

And settling is NEVER a conviction. However, I'm sure Sweeney has a copy of your post so that if Moss wins he can recoup his losses from you.

Let me correct this. Sweeney can attempt to use the precedent set to recoup his losses from you.

Only three. I have at least three computers and two phones. LOL. Looks like you're missing some.

And what case do you have to record mine? I'm not the one that has thrown personal attacks and libeled people. Are you stalking me?
