How long is Jefferson County going to turn their heads to Lake Wood Apartments? When they evict someone they throw all there stuff down on the outer road. Littering is a crimminal offense. Whats up with Jefferson County allowing this? No wonder Jeff. County is made fun of by others. Clothes, beds, furniture and god knows whats else pitched to the street. Talk about rift raft, Lakewood has to be at the top of the list!

@ jon q:

It is standard practice in an eviction that the person being evicted items are taken out of the house and placed on the curb per court order. The fact that people rile through the stuff and make a mess of it is no concern of the JeffCo sheriffs department. Once the items are removed from the domicile the police are not responsible for guarding the items from the general public.

Blame the person who didn't pay their rent for this. A lease is a legal contract and an eviction is the ultimate penalty for failure to pay.
