So where and when do we vote? How can the good people of the district educate themselves on the candidates?

You vote on April 2. Go to jeffcomo.org to view your ballot. Arnold Patch and Fox C-6 Watchdogs are good places to look. http://foxc6watchdogs.blogspot.com/

You vote on April 2. Go to jeffcomo.org to view your ballot.
You also have the option of reading the candidates posts in the Leader.

I also know Pete Nicholas, Steve Holloway and Mark Jones all have set up pages on Facebook for their campaigns.
In my opinion, the Fox C-6 Watchdogs blog is not by any means the best source for you to glean knowledge about the candidates. It's a small blog written with a very biased view. Limited in scope. I think the blog could be best described as paranoid obsessive in focus. I checked it out once and have not been back since.

The view on that blog couldn't be any more biased than the information you get weekly from the Leader. If that paper were any more slanted it would be horizontal.

Did you find something on the blog that was not true? If so, what?

Ditto Sam Ferry. Did you read something there that you know not to be true? If so, I wished you'd please call it out.

I think you're probably right to some extent that the blogger has a "biased view". His view and scope is limited to and based on his actual, first hand experience with the District... which is that the District has treated him unfairly, has lied, and that the Board has failed in its responsibility. His experience is what it is, and as such it is valid. The point of his blog is to share information based on his own interactions and experiences with the District for those who are interested in learning about it.

Regarding "paranoid obsessive", I can see where you're coming from. But maybe you can read it knowing that the District has repeatedly accused him of making "untrue" statements. I think he errs on the side of providing as much information he can to show, factually and with sources and details, that he is not lying. I understand that it's hard to read so many details, and that it may appear "paranoid obsessive", but that is a response to the District trying to discredit him.

The bottom line for me is that he has submitted his personal experience over to the (federal) agencies that are charged with overseeing and investigating his concerns. That's an unbiased approach, don't you think? It's my understanding that one federal agency has already ruled that he is right (he will provide you with the USDA's "final agency decision" for you on request), and the other federal agency is still investigating. Both agencies will make their findings available to the public, so eventually it will no longer be a "she said he said" situation but rather an official report issued by the feds defining what, if any, of his allegations are true.

But until then, I think you should call him out if you know something he has stated is not true and that you can substantiate it with anything other than what someone has "told" you.

Paranoid Obsessive is an accurate, but mild, description. This guy lives, breathes and sleeps with the intent to bring people down at Fox.

So what?

What, exactly, has he put out there that is not true?

His experience is that 'people at Fox' have lied about him and not done their jobs. If he's obsessed, it's to prove that what they've said is not true and what they've done is wrong. The federal agencies are the authorities charged with making this determination. Their findings, not his opinions, determine if anyone should "go down".

I really don't get it. Why do you attack this guy instead of being outraged by his experience? Is it that you think he's sorta weird, so whatever he says cannot be true?

Just those that deserve to be brought down!
