The gates can go bye bye

It was funny to see at the Fire Board meetings and at County P&Z meetings how AC went as far as name calling and bad mouthing VO residents as low class trash where VO just stated only the facts on the concerns of emergency service loss without dragging one AC resident thru the mud. It started out as class warfare and has stayed so. Thank you Jefferson CO for making this mess and continuing to make it worse. The law suits proved from long ago that AC always wanted private streets and never wanted to get along with VO. Just terrible. This situation truly stinks.'OMG'- please add something relevant.

Who cares if they put a gate up it's the subdivision. In the city of st. Louis they put big concrete planters up and don't have to get permission. They just have fire trucks cary chains to drag them out of the way and put em back when they are finished I think the gate is a nicer looking option. And if the fire department would train the responders properly you wouldnt have any issue at all. So go find some other imaginary wrong to right. And to all those talking of lawsuits to the home owners it would never happen get real.

You really aren't creating any motion here for your case. The Area Gated communities quoted are, from what I can tell are, just single subdivisions that have a gate solely for their subdivision. It is an issue when an ADJOINING subdivision puts in a gate to separate the two and block emergency responders to reach victims timely. The emergency agencies do not do a good job to train its employees or either put to much faith in them. They are just human but gates are material and need to go. Nothing imaginary about that. What a predicament when 30 home owners can dictate the safety of 191 home owners. It's bull.

The let the 191 homeowners pay to put the bridge that was supposed to go in or another
Private acces point. It's a PRIVATE street there for private property and there is nothing you or the other 191 homes can do about it but cry and complain

A lot of the residents of VOs don't realize a bridge was suppose to be put in attaching both sides of their subdivisions. They should fight for that not fight AC for access to their private streets. Thirty homeowners can dictate it when the streets are privately owned. focus on cleaning up your homesites, stopping the car break ins, robberys, speeding, vandalism, etc. and stop focusing your efforts on an object that is getting more approvals throughout the county as we speak.

Thx RCFD for wasting tax dollars on useless inspections on gates. No vote for you on your bond issue.
Embarrassed VO Resident

Please don't judge us all because of a couple of ignorant people. Yes, Pat Stoll is CRAZY...he was practically kicked out of St. Louis county for all the trouble he started there. All he has to do is set home on disability (even though you can see him working in his yard, building little bridges, and always able to run his mouth). I don't see much physically disabled about him except for his Stupidity. He STALKS his neighbors and the trustees. He is the main cause for a lot of the name calling and trouble within the subdivision and AC. He is one of those that are able to manipulate the even more simple minded then him and stir up a ruckus. I don't blame AC for wanting the gate. And I mean really people did you not travel Frisco Hill when you went looking to buy a home? You knew it was there did you really not think something like this may never happen? It's here to stay just get over it! We are sorry for Pat Stoll and all the trouble he has caused. But I'm afraid we will never be able to get him to SHUT UP!

Pat may be spirited but he brings up valid concerns for VO residents to think about. VO did not create this issue with the three subdivisions having to be at war with each other. Jefferson County messed this whole street plan up from the get-go among the subdivisions. AC controls the fate of 191 homeowners in Valley Oaks thanks to that dumb gate. That is just true ignorance and the gate inspections are a joke. VO can be patient with the lawsuits toward AC when that day comes when a life is lost that the RCFD failed to save because of the obstruction delay. Many of us DID NOT expect the gate because they are just STUPID to have and, as Jeff Co residents, makes us look STUPID because of our dumb subdivision layouts - thanks again Jeff Co. Go look in the mirror before complaining about Stoll and be silent yourself. Why would you make public knowledge on this anyway and not provide YOUR name.

Thank God we moved from this area when we had the chance to break even. Looking back, I would have paid someone to take the house. Good luck to those still stuck there.

VOs has to be filled with some of the most ignorant people I have ever witnessed. They sue each other, they sue other subdivisions. They dump waste on other subdivisions, they speed through other subdivisions. They have more crime in their neighborhood than all other neighborhoods combined in the area. There are some good people in there and they are the ones I feel sorry for. Poor idiots actually think they can sue a subdivision that follows the law. Give the lawyers all your money (oh wait, people don't pay their HOA dues so they are out of money). VOs makes themselves look STUPID to the county, the officials, other subdivisions, emergency workers, and on lookers. All I got to say is... pull up a chair and eat some popcorn because they are a bunch of bumbling stoodges. lol

Wow. If you just didn't make yourself sound stupid and ignorant. Did you just wake up. The gate possessors got beyond the ruling that was put in place to allow traffic to drive through the connected subdivisions. All the agencies involved didn't care to check the county records. This is what you get in Jeffco and the blame is on the county not VO residents. I still feel sorry for your ignorance and you must have been raised in Jeffco. Not that all people are bad here :) Popcorn will be nice though for the show when any of the gates fail, someone parishes from the Emergency services delay, and the attorneys can a field day for those families. Thanks for the chuckle from your comment.

Apparently everybody is still healthy without the need of emergency services in that subdivision.
