If a nepotism policy was in place like other districts in the area, his wife would lose her job when it was implemented. So do you really think he is going to fix the nepotism problem?

He said it would grandfather current employees. Didn't you read the whole thing? I think that is fair so nobody loses their current job, but it will apply to new hires. Even if his wife didn't work for the district I would expect the new policy to work that way.

He is also going to involve the people in the job positions closest to the position being sought in the job interviews to find the most qualified candidate.

This guy is on the up and up.

Like the First Baptist contingent that cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of $$$ in the Bourisaw debacle?

I'm not voting for any incumbents in the school board election. I think that we need fresh people. I'm tired of hearing about our city in the news, I now have to hear about the local school district, too. It gives a very bad image of the city and keeps people from moving here when the city and its school district have bad reputations.

Steve is going to do an excellent job at helping this district turn around. He has no hidden agenda, and is just a very concerned parent who wants to bring a new positive perspective to the Board. A perspective that is honest backed by nothing more than a desire to do what is best for the students, staff, and community.

That's sounds great. The other lady's answer sheet made it sound like she was running just to make sure her family had jobs.

He has NO hidden agenda???? Are you kidding. He is being endorsed by the NEA UNION!!! If you think for one minute THEY do not have an agenda, you need your head examined.

I am supporting Mark Jones. He is not endorsed by the UNIONS and is a concerned taxpayer that will help our district WITHOUT an agenda.

Mark Jones comes across as a perfect choice for the Fox School Board.

So Tony question for you.... If Mark Jones would have been chosen by NEA to be endorsed then you would not have voted for him.... Right??!! Let's take a look at issues NOT who is endorsing them. Although, in my book, NEA stands for education! Steve Holloway gets my vote!!!!

Mark Jones sure did want that recommendation, Tony who are you trying to kid. And there was a justifiable reason why he did not get that endorsement. He did not fair well in the NEA interview. Get your facts straight.

Steve Holloway has a personal gain from being elected. His wife works for the district. We have that already. Time for something new. No offense to Steve because I'm sure he is a hell of a guy, we just don't need relatives anymore.

I'm not sure what personal gain you may be talking about?? If you ask around you might find out that his wife is a very good teacher and from what I hear is happy where she is..... AND EVERY candidate is related to someone in the district whether it be staff or children attending FOX schools.......just saying!!!!!! I am actually ok with all of that. That let's me know that they are trying to make things better FOR reasons beyond appearances.
