She is the prime example of the nepotism in the district. I understand that we don't know if her daughters/relatives were hires because of their relation or if they truly were qualified, but that not knowing and the image we are portraying is the problem.

Fox has many problems in my opinion. It will take years of citizens' dogged watchful participation to get on the right track. Most of the incumbents don't want that to happen it seems. They want to stay perched in positions of power for life and continue the current ways. Sam, I hope others get some courage and stand with you.

Gee Timothy because you would never think to say something that is not true maybe you could explain to everyone what my particular "ax" is. After all you "know me".
Yeah the press is a horrible thing, we should abolish it altogether. As much as I think the press has an agenda, I will take their agenda over the agenda of this Board and administration any day of the week!
What is your "ax"? Your ax is that you were fired from the district (a district like most school districts where it is almost impossible to get fired) and now you want to make the district look as bad as possible maybe feeling it will make you look or feel better.

Yes the press is horrible.(period). A good reason to try stay away from giving them fodder to live on.

With your logic Barb, I guess that all lawmakers should vote with the majority or president to show
unity.,,, are you serious!!!!
No lawmakers vote with the "majority" of their party to show "unity". Tell me that doesn't happen every day of the year at all levels of government. Yes I am very serious.

You don't like that I disagree with you. You should be used to it by this point in life. Being old is never an insult to me, I was young and stupid before, that did not work out for me. Barb you are among a minority here, you should just agree with me to show unity. The board voted 6-0 and they should all be accountable to that! I am glad they have your shoulder to cry on, they'll need it.
LOL, good one, agree to show unity like the BOE.

Make that "used to be" impossible to get fired. I feel she is firing employees to make room for her people. It has happened a lot in the last few years.

Forgot to add: it will be interesting to see who is hired into the ten? teaching positions left vacant by the new administrative intern moves. And are any of the new interns part of her crowd?

When you say you know someone and you know their motives it is expected that you actually say what they would say. It is not enough to "know of" someone. Like when Christ said if you've seen me then you have seen my Father. He could say that because Christ and God were on the very same page, they thought alike, he got his directions from God.

First of all getting fired from Fox, by this administration is as easy as falling off a log, especially if you are CLASSIFIED staff, which of course I was. Classified staff is not afforded the protection that CERTIFIED staff is. There is no union protection for them. Essentially they do not even have to provide a reason for firing you. Plus I have first hand knowledge that they have set classified staff up so they could fire them, and believe it or not there are a number of ways they can do that. Classified Staff should all ban together and join the NEA so that they are afforded some kind of equal rights against any unfair practices, if I were still there I would lead the charge for that.

Secondly my axE has nothing to do with my getting fired. I have not only openly admitted I was fired but have often said that I was proud of it! Does that sound like a grinding axe? Not if you are listening, or better yet if you "know me." My axe is that we have a Board of directors that does not do the job they were voted in to do and as a result we have an administration that can do whatever it wishes, even hire friends and family that do not deserve their positions. Not only is that the axe I am grinding but I assure you it is getting sharper as it grinds.

Thirdly do you actually believe that a "fired disgruntled janitor" could make this district look bad all by himself? This district is filled to overflowing with abused and disgruntled employees. They of course can not say that because it will either end up in their termination or it will end any hope they have at advancement. This district looks bad without my help, open you eyes and ears Timothy!

You really need to learn to say what I said, not what you want to hear. I did not say the press was horrible, I said they had an "agenda" but it was one I trusted more than the agenda of this administration. It is the very first right that was protected by the founding fathers. It was first for a reason! The press should not scare you, truth can handle the bare light that the public shines on it, only those that have something to hide fear the press!

Now if you just say about me what I say about myself you won't have to be posting "maybe" about how I feel.

I went back and read my reply to Timothy and I actually did say that the press was horrible. But of course the last half of that sentenence is we should abolish it altogether. If it was not clear that that was sarcasm then I am sorry for that Timothy and to anyone else that may of misunderstood. That sentence was sarcasm! What the district needs is the 40,000,000 candle light of the press to wake them up! There, that's clear!

WOW Really! You cast a vote in an open meeting in the affirmative for a motion that you really don't support or agree with???? WTH? First off that should be unethical from all kinds of points. Secondly that is political suicide as they are about to find out. If you want to show unity just don't air out your disagreement publicly! Just do the Vote Up or Down and move on. But don't lie to the public and vote in open secession for something you don't believe in! Wow this is just so wrong in so many ways. This practice should be brought up to the ethic's committee.
